Entertainment team are very friendly and fun. We've been here five days so far and spoken with them everyday.
Didn't feel pressurised into taking part when we first arrived.
There was a pool foam party yesterday and activities everyday
Enjoying our first holiday to Tunisia
I don’t like the food change the chef please
The staff are the only thing that save this hotel completely. The animation team are absolutely amazing, the restaurant staff are great, bar staff came across a bit moody at times and kept giving people the complete wrong alcohol to what they asked for. They only had 3 full fat options on the menu for soft drinks so if you only drink diet options I wouldn't bother. The food was very average, it turned both mine and my partners stomachs very weird and the queues for the food at lunch and dinner are ridiculous, there were also flies on the food a few times which completely put us off.
The hotel is extremely clean to be fair, cannot fault the cleaning ladies who don't seem to stop cleaning and are always very polite.
Reception were polite but not very helpful, we had no working aircon for almost 4 days and had to ask a total of 12 times for this to actually be fixed and even then it caused our room roof to leak dirty water which took another day to be fixed, they eventually stopped the leak but left the room floor completely soaked with water which I came in to the room and slipped on, causing me to fall and really hurt my leg. We only stayed 7 days and it took 4 to get the aircon working and not leaking, the remaining 3 days we had very bad aircon that we barely felt, but we honestly couldn't be bothered complaining anymore.
The room itself was so run down and different to the pictures so don't go expecting luxury, I don't know how this hotel is 4 stars to be honest.
Amazing friendly team and they were so helpful and chatty throughout our time here.
⭐⭐⭐⭐
For the price, this place is really excellent value overall. The location is very convenient too – there’s a mosque not far away, lots of shops nearby, and a shopping centre close by as well. Food is decent and changes daily, with fresh pizza and pasta made every day.
There are a few downsides though. The air conditioning in the room didn’t work properly – I mentioned it twice to get it fixed, and while it makes noise like it’s running, the cooling is really weak. There was no Wi-Fi in the rooms at first, only in the lobby and downstairs; this was only sorted out 5 days into our stay. Also, there’s no iron in the room – if you need clothes pressed, you have to give them to staff and pay extra for the service.
Overall, despite these annoyances, it’s still a great option for what you pay.
Great experience, entertainment is the best part about it
What I liked the most was the staff. They were really friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was great, really close to the beach and other attraction points and the rooms were pretty clean. The only thing that could be better are the room's bathrooms. But everything paid off in the end.
The animation team was really friendly and the staff were always helpful with any problems i encountered.
The entertainment team were fun and engaging.
Our “children” are teenagers and so don’t take part in the activities but there seemed to be plenty on offer and the children who were with them seemed happy
I am writing this review on my final day at the hotel while waiting in the lounge for our airport transfer, which was approximately 5½ hours after checkout. Having now experienced the hotel from arrival through to departure, I feel able to provide a balanced and honest review that reflects both the positives and the negatives.
The hotel has some genuine strengths. The food was consistently the best part of our stay, with an excellent variety at every meal. Its location is also fantastic, just a short walk from the beach and right next to Yasmine Hammamet Marina, making it easy to explore the local area.
The hammam was another highlight. The staff there clearly cared about providing a relaxing experience. The scrub, massage and overall treatment were excellent—I was so relaxed that I actually fell asleep during the massage. It was a wonderful addition to the hotel and one of the experiences I would happily recommend.
Several members of the restaurant staff also deserve recognition, particularly Kasim, who always greeted us with a smile and consistently went out of his way to help despite the language barrier. There was also a hardworking lady who cleaned the restaurant throughout every meal service and was always friendly and welcoming.
Unfortunately, the positives were overshadowed by too many issues elsewhere. Our initial room was not ready for guests, reception staff were often rude or dismissive, communication was poor, the Wi-Fi was unreliable, housekeeping standards were inconsistent, and we repeatedly had to ask for basic amenities such as towels and toilet paper.
The rooms themselves also need modernisation. Although I appreciated practical features such as the bidet, the bathrooms felt cramped, dated and poorly designed. Having a bath with a detachable shower head and an old shower curtain made the bathroom feel less clean and less pleasant than it should have been. Even though my friend and I kept the room tidy ourselves throughout our stay, the room never gave the impression of a comfortable four-star hotel.
Restaurant service was inconsistent. While some staff were excellent, there were multiple occasions where we waited significant amounts of time for cutlery, napkins or drinks after requesting them, sometimes having to ask several different waiters before receiving them.
Finally, although I cannot comment on the reasons behind it, there were occasions where my friend and I felt overlooked compared with other guests. There were instances where our requests were delayed while guests arriving afterwards were served first. Whether intentional or not, this affected how welcome we felt during our stay.
Overall, this hotel has the foundations of a good holiday destination thanks to its excellent food, location, spa facilities and several genuinely caring staff members. However, customer service, communication, housekeeping standards and room quality require significant improvement.
Sadly, despite the enjoyable aspects of our holiday, I would not choose to stay here again, nor would I personally recommend it unless these issues are addressed.
It was fun I love it here I like the entertainment I would come again
really good location right by beach a lot of places around shop right outside for anything you need entertainment team brilliant
It was an amazing experience! All the workers were amazing and also the hotel, the view, the weather! I will definitely come back when i can!
it was a really good experience they were all really friendly and positive !! the entertainment crew are really nice especially taki , jo and
After reading reviews both on Facebook and on TripAdvisor I was very apprehensive however I was extremely pleasantly surprised
Staff, animation team and also housekeeping were all lovely friendly and accommodating, big shoutout to Pepito from animation team who was especially lovely, food was repetitive but delicious qnd there was always something to eat. cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch .hotel is a bit dated. However for what you pay you are getting an absolute bargain. We are definitely coming back next September as we enjoyed our stay very much.
After reading both on TripAdvisor and Facebook. I didn't agree with the bad comments I love the entertainment team are fabulous and made you feel safe and happy and made sure you had all you needed. Cleaning staff trust worthy. Managers deeply helpful food was alot of it cooked fresh. Drinks were not watered down.felt very safe out of hotel. Loved it that much am booking to go back next year 100% 100 would recommend
Houda Yasmine was a great stay, The staff were fantastic and very friendly. The entertainment had shown great enthusiasm and effort to interact with all of the guests from minute one. The only downside i would say was the low quality of the Air con in the room as it made little to no difference.
After a delayed outward flight we arrived at 3.30am. Myself and my 80 year old friend both walk with walking sticks as struggle with mobility. The guy on reception said he would give us a nice room. Our booking was for a twin room with garden view. We he gave us was a 2nd floor standard double small room, at the furthest point from the lift. With a view of a public cutway filled with rubbish piles. Although we separated the 2 single beds pushed together, there wasn’t even enough room to have a bedside table each. The walk to and from the lift took us a good 10mins to reach.
The room was cleaned daily by a very lovely lady, who would make our beds and arrange our nightwear into cute flower shapes. On arrival we found a plate of food and some bottled water, which was certainly needed after our long day.
The serving staff were all super friendly, with waiters putting flowers on tables and ensuring guests had a pleasant time. I struggled with the food options even though there was plenty of them and lived mainly on soup and fruit. The outside cooking area I avoided after the 1st day, after queuing for 15 mins to find the chef dipping his ladle into raw Turkey to put on the griddle then promptly using same ladle to dish up the already cooked. The snack bar offers panini’s, chicken nuggets and crepes. Not an ice cream or ice lolly in sight, although there is a small shop you can purchase one from next door to hotel entrance.
I had mixed feeling in regards to the entertainment team. Our first evening out, we were told that the hotel had a nightclub next door, where we get a free drink on arrival and reserved area. We had one drink, the entertainers stopped entertaining and just sat around looking bored. We decided to leave, only to be told that we needed to pay for our drink. The price was steap at 65D which I questioned. The barman stated that we had ordered doubles, which we had not. Not having enough Dina’s I ended up throwing the 40 I had and £15 English money at him and stormed out, as I don’t like being taken advantage of anywhere and never went back, warning other guests to be careful. I’d also watch with bingo and tombola prices, some guests were charged 10D per tickets, others 20D. Making it a lil unfair. When I raised this to an entertainer he shouted at me, saying why are you trying to sabatoge my tombola! The only entertaining and consistently polite one of them was Kemo. He was a fabulous entertainer with a vibrant personality to match. He definitely got a tip from us!
The spa was fabulous, I had the best massage ever! All the staff friendly and helpful. It cost us 10D to get a taxi to Marina one evening, which was lovely, however expect a lot of jasmin sellers harassing you, even when you are eating a meal, small children and disabled will approach begging for Dina’s. I should have brought more small change with me in hindsight.
There’s a creepy guy called Muhammad who wonders around the hotel selling excursions and trying to get women to leave the hotel with him. He’s the only male whilst away that acted in appropriately towards me. Yes there were lots of lovely compliments being given from staff members but nothing that was sleazy or out of order. He made me feel uncomfortable at times.
For a cheap all inc escape this hotel is great, however it’s not one that I will be returning to.
The animation team and the rest of the hotel were the friendliest most accommodating group of people I have ever encountered on holiday. Nothing was too much trouble and tleverythung was done with a smile
Entertainment staff amazing!! The lady who cleans the toilet downstairs by reception is absolutely amazing also! Only let down is the food x
