Prima locatie, zeer gedateerde kamer - geen 4 sterren.
Pros:

De locatie is prima, op loopafstand van het centrum (wel een kleine bergwandeling). En gratis parkeren, voldoende parkeerplaatsen.

Cons:

Een kamer die al jaren geleden bij de tijd gebracht had moeten worden. Een heel ander beeld dan wat ik kreeg van de foto’s op Booking tijdens het boeken. Er lijkt een wereld van verschil te zitten tussen de “oude” vleugel en de nieuwbouw. Dit was by far geen 4 sterren ervaring.

Daarnaast was hygiëne helaas niet zoals ik had gehoopt, lange haren op een van de kussens en een spinnenweb in de hoek van de kamer.

The location and the room

Unfortunately, the attitude and communication from the staff were disappointing. There seemed to be frequent misunderstandings, and whenever we tried to explain something, the response was sometimes unnecessarily aggressive before fully understanding what we meant.

For example, at check-out, I was busy outside, so I contacted the staff and explained that my wife would check out and that we would need to leave our bags in the corridor for only 30 minutes to an hour at most. Instead of calmly discussing this with her, the staff member responded rudely and raised his voice, saying that this was not acceptable.

However, when I arrived shortly afterward, his attitude toward me was completely different. He told me, “Everything is okay, brother. I waited an extra hour for you,” offered us breakfast, and then asked me to give him a high rating.

I appreciate the flexibility and the breakfast, but hospitality is not only about providing services or favors. The way guests are spoken to and treated is equally important. A welcoming attitude, respectful communication, and professionalism are some of the most important things you can offer your guests.

I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as better communication and a more respectful approach would make a significant difference to the overall guest experience.

Wir kommen wieder.
Pros:

Für das Frühstück gibt es mehrere Räumlichkeiten. Es gibt also keinen übergroßen Esssaal. Es wird einem alles Erdenkliche geboten. Sogar ein Kindergeburtstag fand statt. Das Frühstück war absolut top.

Cons:

Dass wir nur eine Übernachtung gebucht hatten. Der Aufenthalt war zu kurz.

tolle Lage, ausgiebiges Frühstücksangebot und moderner Wellnessbereich, wir durften unsere Rennräder mit ins Zimmer nehmen

Cons:

leider war im Restaurant nie richtig gedeckt und nachdem wir einmal zu trinken bestellt hatten kam über 1,5h kein Kellner mehr, für ein Restaurant in einem 4 Sterne Hotel etwas Luft nach oben

…Sofia at the reception was very helpful with detailed information about the local transportation and the free train tickets for guests staying at the hotel.
…Breakfast was rich and delicious. Everyone is assigned toz specific table which has to be used during the entire stay. You don’t have to wait or look for finding a table.
Rooms are clean and big enough to hang your clothes.
…Free parking space is available.
…We spent most of our entire day in going to Salzburg by train for a concert and then returned to Zell am See in the late afternoon/evening. Therefore we could not see much of the rest of the hotel like the pool or spa.

Cons:

… The only criticism would be the housekeeping policy of the hotel which allows the rooms to be cleaned every next day. This is very inconvenient for those who stay for two nights. Hopefully, Sofia at the reception asked ghe cleaning staff to change our towels and to clean the bathroom at 19:30 upon my kind request. As such, she saved many points for the hotel in this review.

O experienta proasta pentru mine dar o rusine pentru o tara ca si Austria.

Nu exista ceva sa mi fi placut.

Cons:

Mancarea este slaba calitativ, locurile d ehoaca sunt imputite, piscina exterioara neincalzita iar in camera nu gasesti un pahar iar in camera nu ai nici macar papuci.
