spacious room, clean, nicely designed. good pool. dinner in the bar was tasty.
have to pay £4 for the pool, which has last entrance at 7.30pm, closing at 8pm (out of pool by 7.45pm), which seems a little early to close.
Everything - no asylum here either which was great
All good
Nothing
How clean and friendly the staff were

Comfortable sitting areas. Large room with comfortable chairs.
Double bed, would have preferred a king size bed. My dietary requirements were not adhered to at first.
Really nice room at a good price, they have a resturant and a coffee/snack bar, very large reception with plenty of area to eat and drink.
Clean and staff very friendly
Nothing g
The staff, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely.
The bed made a terrible noise we barely slept.
The bathroom was in desperate need of DIY and it smelled of sewage there were hairs on the floor and in the bath. Otherwise it was clean, the cleaner maybe needs to wear glasses and pay attention to detail.
The carpets in communal areas were there is heavy footfall were very dirty. Maybe a carpet shampooing job for during the night?
Despite this, the staff were great and we paid a bargain price.
The staff were fabulous. Food was great. Bed was comfortable enough for a short stay like ours. The foyer area, bar and restaurant were very pleasant and relaxing. The spa facilities were available. The ensuite was functional and fairly clean. The room was pleasantly arranged. The outdoor spaces looked like they could.be really beautiful.
Mainly the appearance that each communal area was cleaned by different people and the joining areas, flooring grippers etc, were no one's job.
Also the spa area could do with a fair amount of TLC. Standing in the shower to make sure that I was clean to enter, the rubberised "skirting" fell onto my feet, making me really look down and notice that it was very dirty and mouldy. That did somewhat colour my spa visit in a negative light. The whole changing area could do with modernising and making communal possibly, more room with more individual changing areas.
The bathroom was nice and the room was clean. Staff were helpful and apologetic.
I was told there was air con and when we arrived 2 hours later told that where they booked me into the air con didn’t work. Had 2 nights in a hot room due to the heatwave. They finally moved us to another section that was air conditioned. The breakfast seemed like it was cooked hours before we ate it. Hash browns dry, scrambled egg dry and tasteless.

Bathroom mouldy and smelt like blocked drain
Comfortable, accessible rooms with friendly, hard working staff. Food is , very good.
Children being allowed to run around the hotel freely which is dangerous in the restaurant where guests, some of whom are elderly or disabled carrying hot food and drink . They roll over the sofas, run up and down the stairs and around the bar or lounge where guests are trying to enjoy their break. I feel for the foreign guests,on coach trips staying at the hotel.
The hotel was spaced out well
The bed in our room was the smallest I’ve ever seen for a two person bed when they had the space to accommodate bigger the bathroom needed a good scrub floors walls bath and the air vent in bathroom thick with dirt was told at reception it was an upgrade so god knows what the previous room looked like the reception area was freezing not comfortable to sit in
