Lovely room and very peaceful location
Breakfast was rather greasy
Staff are friendly and welcoming.
This is a tired property that is in desperate need of renovation and modernisation. They used to have a fantastic leisure facilities 30 years ago, but unfortunately the pool is now dry and the gym is run down with the original rusty equipment. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom in a Privilege Suite was finished in silicone, room shabbily decorated. Coffee good!
Breakfast is a highlight with friendly staff and good food.

Large comfortable room. Plenty of space for us and the dog. Staff very welcoming to us and the dog.

Me and my partner went for afternoon tea at Mercure Bolton Georgian House Hotel. The atmosphere was quiet and cozy.. the food and drinks that were served to our table were cute and amazing. The leader that served does called Eileen gave us the best experience we could have asked for and she was so polite.. we have told our friends and family about this place and the service that we was given and we will definitely be visiting this amazing hotel to be greeted once again by the friendless staff. Thank you so much from Kyle and Carly.
Stayed here as a stopover on a visit to our son in Edinburgh. All the staff were very good but have to make a special mention of Irene working in the bar her customer service was excellent.
A wonderful woman named Irene served me I was really pleased with her customer service she was kind and friendly and very nice to talk to she made me feel comfortable and relaxed.

Very tired uncomfortable and bad smell in room
The paid breakfast was substantial, and other meals were good. Just one night while travelling. WE had the dining room to ourselves, and a plus as we could watch the FIFA match between USA and Australia!
The room was a little stuffy, no air-con, as we travelled over the summer, otherwise it was comfy.
Hi I popped in to the hotel to do some work and was looked after by Irene who can't do enough for you she is a true asset for the business
I will definitely use the facilities again and introduce to colleagues
