Pros:

Room was clean and comfy.

Cons:

Breakfast dishes werent cleared from our table between cereal, cooked breakfast and toast which left the table cluttered.
Shortage of cooked tomatoes, black pudding overcooked

Overall, the facilities, rooms & staff were great and the only think stopping me from saying I had the perfect stay
Pros:

The staff were exceptional, were extremely attentive and friendly

Cons:

We had both lunch and dinner. Ordered a ceaser salad for lunch and it’s the most basic salad I’ve ever eaten (couldn’t taste Parmesan, I think I found 2 bits and there were no croutons which are a standard part of a Ceaser salad). I was also disappointed to be paying more to have chicken with it.

Expected better, having stayed at other Doubletree Hiltons before.
Pros:

Room was very clean with plenty of hot water for shower and bath. All staff were very friendly and engaging with guests. Parking was easy and convenient.

Cons:

A lot of banging noise in room coming from the ground floor below. It started every morning at 6am and persisted (possibly linked to health/fitness area below). We could have asked for another room but, after having fully unpacked the night before and clothes ironed we did not want to pack again and move during a short 4 day stay. We just had to start each day a bit earlier than we would have liked. Breakfast buffet was not well organised. One morning 90% of tables still had dirty dishes waiting to be cleared. The staff member seating guests was appologetic and said other staff should be arriving soon. We then had to have breakfast while a noisy trolley was used to clear all the surrounding tables. Breakfast orange and apple juices were really just coloured water. Location was not good for walking into Bellshill. It was at the edge of an industrial/business estate with very few paths and lots of traffic.

Breakfast location and overall we were happy with the stay

Cons:

I specifically asked to get rooms together whilst I am aware this is a request only I called the hotel before and after booking to further try ensure this which the hotel confirmed they had sorted it and rooms were locked in however on the day the rooms were not and this caused a lot of stress hassle trying to fix this out and I do feel like I wasted around 2 hours of my time of my stay trying to fix things out while having a group with me for my daughters birthday so I was disappointed with this it did get sorted in the end so I was grateful to have it sorted out but I emailed, I called and I actually visited the hotel the day before to ensure I had rooms together and was advised each time that I did that I had them that the rooms were blocked off etc etc yet on the day it still went wrong so that was not a good start I did find that very disappointing

Great location, lovely spa facilities and staff were excellent and very accommodating.
Pros:

Staff were very accommodating as we were a large party. Staff were friendly and had a nice sense of humour which was welcomed when we were using the hotel as a base for our son's wedding nearby.

Cons:

Room could maybe do with being updated slightly but we still slept well.

How warm and welcoming when you arrive how clean and spotless everything is makes you feel happy inside and at reception couldn’t be any more nicer very respectful always smiling very smart, the room was beautiful clean very spacious the furniture was stylish very clean every where, the meals ie breakfast and dinner was amazing especially the breakfast that you can choose what to have plenty to choose from wide selection was very warm and cooked very well felt very homely at ease and very comfortable, came here for my 35TH wedding anniversary and it was amazing the view was beautiful and the hotel itself is beautiful couldn’t fault anything the bed was soo cozy and the sheets were spotless had an amazing sleep didn’t want to go home it was a great experience Thankyou soo much will definitely be back and recommending would like to mention Gwen she is absolutely lovely what a lovely genuine lady couldn’t be any nicer she’s a credit to the hotel and I hope yous know how lucky yous are to have her x

Enjoyable stay
Pros:

I recently stayed at the Hilton DoubleTree for a birthday treat and had a delightful experience. Our family room, located on the second floor, was clean, peaceful, and very comfortable. We enjoyed a relaxing afternoon making use of the spa facilities, which added a lovely touch to our stay. In the evening, we had a meal served by a friendly and attentive staff team, which made the occasion feel special. Breakfast the next morning was included and rounded off a thoroughly enjoyable visit.

Cons:

Overall, the bar offered a pleasant atmosphere and attentive service, though the drinks were somewhat pricey.

Sad to say wouldn’t stay again
Pros:

The location, facilities and staff for the most part were good. Had been to the hotel many times during our time living in Uddingston which is why we chose to stay here on a visit.

Cons:

Fire alarm at 1am the first night and children running up and down the corridors screaming, shouting and banging on doors the second. Not much sleep to be had so disappointing from that perspective. Also had a very early dinner the second night and only one other table occupied in restaurant. Staff kept coming up interrupting us each time mid conversation which was unnecessary. It felt that they were trying to rush us the whole time. Not really good customer service from that perspective.
