Very large rooms and spacious bathroom. Very comfortable large bed.
The food in the restaurant was disappointing. It was very bland and tasteless. The vegetable soup tasted like vegetables in unseasoned water!

The room was very cold and I can't sleep with electric central heating. I needed a warmer duvet. I had to use the duvet on the second bed as well as the one on my own.
The taxi to/from airport is very expensive. Maybe try to arrange a better deal?

Das Gesamtpaket entspricht einfach nicht 4 Sternen. Es gibt Gläser im Zimmer, aber kein komplementäres Wasser. Das Zimmer ist etwas altbacken, der TV hat schlechten Empfang. Das Frühstück ist OK, der Kaffee allerdings eher etwas bedürftig.

Swimming spa area is amazing not much for kids but we loved
The one events manager that was rude unprofessionsl and ignorant to someones disability i did speak to manager but she said she didnt know you had a disability i didnt know they were all the same there not all visable i tried to tell her iam putting a co plaint to head office as this one staff member jan events manager ruined my experience iam a member and contimplating cancelling £65 a month going to another place because of this, ive never experienced this type of attitude for me using a cushion as there were no chairs i had to sit on the ground as they did not provide a chair and the cusion was taking from me from this woman and i was made to stand which i cant do for a long periid due to my disability i never told this lady i had a disablity but told the genersl manager gorgina and she stated the above "she wouldnt know " my reply my didsbility should not be disclosed because every person shoukd be treated different tgis is discrimination i wont book this hotel again to stay
The swimming pool was great as usual , the rooms were very clean and tidy . The cleaning lady on our Monday of arrival is a credit to your hotel . Didn’t get her name but she was lovely , friendly and very professional . The breakfast was lovely . However the breakfast was starting to be cleared away and removed at 9.20 am , which I thought was too early due to breakfast time being available until 10 am . Cold meat had ran out and not been replenished and only one type of cheese available on continental , there was one other cheese unwrapped . What we had was well cooked and delicious . Sausages were lovely as was the black pudding !
There was no drinking cups available for cold water in swimming pool . Unless uve been before you wouldn’t know to bring a reusable drinking bottle . I noticed whilst looking at the notice board in spa that so many towels had went missing this could be easily resolved by signing for your towels and then signing on way back out . We tried to call reception for a long time to stay another day in end gave up and booked somewhere else . Sad because we love doubletree Hilton but have now found another hotel further north more expensive but it now has broadened our horizons . That should never happen . There should always b someone available to answer the phone . The dinner time menu is very limited and so therefore encourages people to go down town. Noise from other rooms due to door closers either needing adjusted or replaced . Plug sockets too low had to leave tray on floor to plug kettle in . Brought this issue to ur attention years ago and still the same . Feel like issues aren’t dealt with in this hotel .
