Desk staff on entry were excellent, but the food ordering was not good with rude staff.
Pros:

The ability to park my car inside and close to our room which was included in the room booking. The room was easy to access and very comfortable with a good bit of space to move around in. The staff member who checked us in was very polite and extremely efficient so we would like to acknowledge her role in making our entry to the property most inviting.

Cons:

The interaction we had with the staff when ordering and then picking up our main meal was a bit of a rude experience. The main meal we ordered was basically meat and nothing else, so we paid at least $120 for bad manners and a slap together meal.

Pros:

Handy location when arriving into Darwin in the early hours of the morning.

Cons:

Unfortunately the list is long. Definitely not value for money. After staying in many Mercure hotels around the world, the standard of this room does not match the room rates. Poor/cheap quality furnishings. No room service available. Car parking inside the hotel grounds costs an extra $20/night. Majority of the hotel is gated off & being renovated which was only disclosed after the non-refundable booking was made. Splash Cafe advertises it is open until 9pm & when we tried to order at 8pm they said they were closed. Small bed in the room. Poor quality, thin bathroom towels, Wardrobe drawers inaccessible due to TV blocking the wardrobe door. Cheap quality window blinds & rattle during the night with the ceiling fan.

Pros:

The staff, mainly Tyrell, went out if his way to make sure my stay was as pleasant as possible.
Nothing was a problem, from me locking myself out if my room, to dropping my room key just before checking out. He helped out with a smile and just made me feel relaxed.

Great stop point on way to or from airport. Amazing pool and comfortable amenitites.
Pros:

Room was comfortable and clean. Nice balcony area with privacy. Bathroom was bright and clean. The pool & splash areas were exceptional. Staff were friendly yet professional. Courtesy bus to airport was a plus.

Cons:

A restaurant or dinner service would be a wonderful addition. The menu provided was more like bar meal selections.

An amazingly relaxing short break from the world. Loved every minute
Pros:

As it was my husband’s 50th the amazing staff upgraded our room and created the most amazing towel cake as a surprise! The room was awesome, the pool amazing and the food was excellent. Thank you so much for having us!

It was a beautiful - native bushland getaway in the heart of Darwin's Northern suburbs.
Pros:

It was beautiful and peaceful, with an amazing view of the native bushland from our balcony. It was lovely sitting out there listening to the birds. It was roomy with great beds, fantastic facilities. Staff were wonderful and helpful,

Cons:

It was a little overpriced for me, however we were celebrating a special birthday. But enjoyed our stay.
