Great pool very convenient for airport
Pros:

Great pool, really helpful staff, nice large room (depending on what you book)

Cons:

Lack of bins was quite annoying, food and drink very average but very expensive. Uncomfortable pillows

The facility is good but the way they manage their guests in checking in is not very satisfying.

What I didn’t like is they kept as waiting for 2 hours to check in. When Mercure sent me a message for online check in I did the online check in but sadly when we are in the hotel they said that the room is not yet ready. We are in the hotel ahead of time due to my request of early check in if possible. But instead of giving us an early check in they gave us a late checking in and the worst is we waited for 2 hours waiting at the lobby.
Please make sure that the room is prepared ahead of time. It’s ok not to allow us for an early check in but make sure we can have the room available on the exact check in time. You are fully aware that guest are tired and wanted to occupy the booked room as soon as they get into the hotel.

Nice overnight stay to coincide with a function in the same location
Pros:

We were there for a Darwin festival dinner so location was good. The cabin/bungalow room was comfortable and roomy

Should have stayed at the Novotel
Pros:

I appreciated the clean room, hot shower and comfortable bed.

Cons:

I couldn’t find my room. It’s 1am and I’m given a colourful map that, at my age, I couldn’t read properly. The place was not well lit, nor was there any signage. There were construction fences around and when it’s 1am in the morning and you’ve been travelling for 12 hours, traipsing around looking for your room (in a place that looked like a deployment camp) was not appreciated.

Pros:
