Bathrooms were outdated with broken mirrors. Ended modernising. Tea mugs and spoons were left uncleaned from previous stay. No amenities provided in bathroom considering it was 4 star.

I liked the location very good place, good view. staff from reception very kind. The room very large, toilet good size as well.
The tables at the bar and restaurante very old, need an updated urgently, the chairs and sofa very old. I had impression to be in a 3 star hotel but bigger. No information was given about the facilities what the hotel offer. Many other clients was complaint about something.
Beautiful exceptionally clean room, very tastefully decorated, very comfortable beds. The hotel itself is a beautiful building, very stylish, inside and out. The SPA is great too, one of the better ones in Ireland. Everywhere in the hotel smells nice, and finishes are of very high quality. The location and proximity to Gleneagle is unbeatable.
The breakfast was a write-off, they ran out of most things by 9:30. Ordered scrambled eggs with smoked salmon on a bagel, it was horrible. Disappointed, would rather have breakfast elsewhere next time. Staff felt overwhelmed, but accommodating. We had to wait too long for our dinner, and they took the drinks off our bill as an apology.
