A great place to stay
Pros:

Close to Canterbury West station, close to all attractions, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast and large towels.

Cons:

Other than negotiating the stairs with luggage (old character hotels don’t have lifts) everything was fantastic.

Pros:

Das zweite Zimmer in meinem Leben - ich bin 72 jahre! - ohne Fenster. Dann muss man für den Hotelparkplatz irgendeine app laden um für die Nacht bezahlen zu können. Das Frühstück ist so lala. Und ein Restaurant gibt es keines. Der Glanz aus alten Zeiten des falstaff ist dahin. Nicht empfehlenswert!!

Zentrale Lage
Pros:

Zentrale Lage. Man ist quasi direkt in der Altstadt von Canterbury. Für die Lage ist der Preis ziemlich gut.
Das Gebäude ist ein sehr schön renoviertes altes Gebäude. Das heißt, das Decken auch mal niedrig sind oder Gänge etwas verwinkelt, uns hat es aber gefallen.

Cons:

Die Fenster sind klein. Wenn es heiß ist, kriegt man das Zimmer kaum gelüftet. Außerdem sind manche Zimmer zu einer belebten Straße raus, auf der z.B. gerne Motorradfahrer Krach machen. Wenn man das Fenster schließt ist die Schallisolierung aber gut und man kann gut schlafen.
Der Hotelparkplatz ist oft voll. Nicht vergessen, mit der App RingGo zu bezahen!
Die Milch beim Frühstück war sauer.

Great ambiance. Great location. Very kind and helpful staff. And outstanding included breakfast. Best I have had anywhere in the world.

Enjoyable stay in historic, well located hotel.
Pros:

Staff were excellent and were very helpful. Our room was small but very comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring Canterbury by foot. Breakfast was very good with a good choice of options.

Une superbe adresse !
Pros:

La décoration est magnifique, beaucoup de goût. Le personnel a été génial, ils nous ont déplacé dans une chambre splendide et mieux car la nôtre était très chaude suite à la canicule. Mille mercis à eux ! L'emplacement est absolument parfait, à 10 mn à pied de la cathédrale. Il est très facile de se garer : à l'hôtel ou dans un parking public à 3 mn à pied pour 15 livres les 24h.

Leuk ingericht, heerlijk bed, fijn stoeltje erbij om te zitten, ruime badkamer, heerlijk ontbijt

De kamer was erg warm en als je onder de douche stond, stond je tegen de kraan aan wilde je water vangen.

A great location with helpful friendly staff but not well adapted to hot weather

staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. location was very convenient

Cons:

the room was very small, with large 4 poster bed. no wardrobe, only a hard dining chair. i had paid for an upgraded room so we would have space for my 2 friends to gather in my room to plan our day. there was simply no space and only a bed or dining chair to sit on
the weather was very hot and while the hotel provided fans for the rooms there were no fans in any of the public rooms.
Parking was very expensive

Great central Canterbury location. Staff at Sunday breakfast were super cheery. Great shower.

Cons:

Hotel desperately needs air conditioning in bedrooms. Also parking costs (£15 per day) should be transparent when booking. Rooms could do with a coffee making machine and a fridge.

5 star service in a historical gem
Pros:

Amazing hotel in the centre of Canterbury. Beautifully decorated. Great size rooms with lovely bathrooms and delicious bath products. Excellent restaurant and bar with attentive and helpful staff throughout the hotel

Die Lage zur Innenstadt ist perfekt, das Personal an der Theke war sehr professionell und freundlich

Unser normales DZ , EG , sehr klein, sehr sehr altes Mobiliar und kaputter Teppichboden , schlechter Geruch. Wahrscheinlich gibt es bessere Zimmer,
Preise für dieses Zimmer höher als eine suit in der Woche .
