Ein schönes Haus mit wunderschönen Räumen (Retaurant und Zimmer), Hinterhofterrasse; Leider Umfeld zu laut
Pros:

Top Lage, Parkplatz dabei, schön eingerichtet;

Cons:

In der Nacht extrem laut, da irre Menschen mit lauten Fahrzeugen unnötig lärmen (Straße führt an zwei Seiten um das Haus herum);
Kellner an der Bar unpersönlich und „hört“ nur seine Musik und diese viel zu laut!

Lovely hotel and a few improvements to the room would have made it fantastic.
Pros:

The hotel is stylish and staff were welcoming and helpful. The shower had good pressure and the bed was comfortable. Location of this hotel is perfect. We had breakfast included and there was a good selection of items available.

Cons:

We stayed in a superior king room and overall the room was nice. There were just a couple of areas that were disappointing- the wallpaper was peeling at the top in multiple places around the room. We were in a room with a four poster bed and the tv was positioned so that the person laying on the left hand side of the bed had their view of the tv blocked by one of the posts.

Home from home
Pros:

Back at our home from home in Canterbury. Our ususl comfortable room in the Wood Mill annexe. Smiling, helpful staff. We wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Stylish, spacious, and comfortable!
Pros:

The hotel and room are stylish, spacious, and comfortable. The historic building adds charm to each nook and cranny of the hotel and the location plants you walking distance from the main attractions. If I were to return to Canterbury, I would choose this hotel again.

Cons:

The shower would repeatedly overflow meaning water would leak through the gaps in the sealant onto the floor. Also, the room needed a fridge due to the heat as our complimentary water was simply too hot to drink and every snack melted.

Staff were all very good and friendly

Cons:

Had the worst night's sleep i've ever had in a hotel. The band next door. Then building works on the street at 3am?. The room was way too hot and muggy.

Pros:

Le personnel était très aimable malgré le fait que je leur ai dit que la chambre était un vrai faux, on m’a pas proposé d’échanger. Le petit déjeuner était également très bon et la décoration. Très mignonne et la chambre était propre.

Cons:

J’ai eu une expérience très mitigée dans cet hôtel. La chambre se trouvait au rez-de-chaussée sur une artère principale, ce qui était extrêmement bruyant. La seule fenêtre donnait sur la rue, complètement occultée par des rideaux, empêchant toute lumière. Si on les ouvrait, on se sentait comme en vitrine, très malaisant. Il n’y avait aucune circulation d’air, pas d’air conditionné, juste un petit ventilateur inefficace. Et lorsque l’on ouvrait la fenêtre, je voyais un homme ivre déambuler juste devant la vitre, ce qui a été très stressant. Je n’ai quasiment pas pu dormir. Pour moi, ce n’est pas une pièce adaptée au repos, et je trouve que ce n’est pas correct de la proposer en location.

L emplacement de l’hôtel est idéal

nous avons pris une junior suite cas nous étions 3
Un lit était à moitié cassé,
Nous étions sous les combles,
Il faisait une chaleur insupportable pas de Clim pas de frigo
Pas d ascenseur pour monter les deux étages avec les valises
Nous avons pas pu dormir de la nuit
Nous avons demandé dès le soir à changer de chambre mais impossible et aucune solution à nous proposer
Vraiment pas digne du tout d un 4 étoiles et la manageuse pas du tout concilialnte
Ils auraient Jamais dû proposer la chambre
Nous avons demandé une réduction refusée nette par la manageuse
Pas du tout commercial

Pros:

The location was great with parking at the rear. Two minutes walk you are in the heart of it all with lots to do. Breakfast was also very good with a good choice 😋.

Cons:

The only thing was the live music next door, very load and only on a Friday. However, it did stop at 11.30, so it was not a complaint and would certainly not put us off from staying again.

Great place highly recommend
Pros:

Everything it’s a great place close to the centre, easy parking, massive bedroom and a super breakfast. Plus the 2 for 1 in the bar was a Billy bonus
