The room faced the street and at night I found the street noise kept me awake- particularly the trams
TV doesn't enable guests to see a guide to what is showing on any channel. No subtitles. No turn-down service. Lighting hard to figure out. Room service was forgotten one day.
The mattress was amazing! It was so incredibly comfortable. The location was very central. I was concerned it could be noisy at night but was really surprised how quiet it was. Loved the room and outlook. Bathroom was large and clean. We loved our stay. We will definitely be back.
I needed additional power points in the bathroom. Honestly though everything else was perfect.

The pillows, bed, and bedding were soft, cosy, and comfy. The bathroom looked lovely, well appointed. Staff downstairs were friendly & attentive.
The shower was a letdown.
No slippers in room, when we asked reception they told me they were there. After looking again to be told where to look, THEY'RE NOT THERE. They phoned our room to tell me again to look, then finally agreed to send some up.
We had artificial sweetener asked reception for Sugar and was told we had some ... I explained that there was only artificial sweetener, so they sent up SUGAR still gave us ARTIFICIAL SWEETENER. We went out and bought some.
Power points accessible to bedside tables would be great, not in the middle of nowhere and at the desk.
BOND is yet to be returned 3 days later. The other hotels we stayed with returned upon checkout.
All in all, we would probably not stay again.
The location is perfect. Staff exceptional, facilities outstanding and very clean.

Loved the heated swimming pool and jacuzzi. Fantastic location right next to theatres and designer shops and public transport. Bed was very comfortable and having booked a twin room enjoyed having two sinks in the bathroom, where shower was able to be turned up very hot. One small bottle of free water. Spent a second night at the Novotel at Melbourne airport and the hotels were chalk and cheese, with the Westin so much nicer, however I had an early flight out so it was convenient.
Additional sparkling water complimentary would have been nice or larger bottle of still water.
Comfort and location
Pool too cold to swim in and front desk staff charged me for the whole stay when l had already paid for it through bookings.com. Waited long time for room when hotel not fully booked
