Last minute bookings

Cons:

After a last-minute cancellation of another booking that was not suitable for our family due to safety concerns, we were urgently looking for somewhere to stay for the night. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially given how last-minute our booking was.

The property was clean, safe, and excellent value for money. It was a huge relief to find somewhere that made us feel comfortable and welcome after a stressful experience. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others looking for a safe and affordable place to stay.

As the last night in Queensland it met the purpose, despite the rain and wind.
Pros:

Was conveniently located on the park frontage with good parking facilities.

Cons:

Found it to be tired and in need of a refresh. The large open plan lobby reception area didn't feel inviting, just clinical. Would probably have had a better experience if the weather had been dryer & warmer and we could have used the pool which our room overlooked and it appeared to be very attractive.

Staff very pleasant & helpful.but hotel needs make over
Pros:

Breakfast fine. Staff at bar in happy hour very nice & pleasant.

Cons:

Air con in passageways outside rooms far too cool. Shower in bathroom difficult to operate. No plates/cutlery in room. No chairs on balcony. Whole of hotel needs refurbishment. Looks tired.

Cons:

Small beds for a couple. I’ve booked a room with a large bed and a single bed, because we don’t fit in a double bed but they gave us a room with two double beds and was hard to sleep.

Was convenient and close to airport. Breakfast was good.
Pros:

Decent price and staff were lovely, could park car on site.

Cons:

One of the beds was broken and the beds are very old. We were on the eleventh floor and could still hear all the noise from the street, would be good if you had someone in hospital, as very close, not so great hearing sirens all night.
