Location
Room a little small, but perfectly formed
Breakfast on the terrace was wonderful. The only problem was the incomprehensible light switches in our bedroom.
Really unimpressed. I thought maybe it was just Lisbon and was not keen to return, but having just stayed at Art Legacy, in a much larger group, I had a totally different experience. With regards this hotel, the staff were nonchalant, could not get a single order right e.g. the daily order of three poached eggs would be two fried eggs, request of water to the room would never appear. The concierge told us incorrect information e.g. dress code allowing shorts so we were refused entry, we requested a booking at a restaurant at their recommendation for 19:30 and told not possible for that evening, but I made a booking myself for 19:45. Their recommendations were over priced and poor quality, much preferred the recommendations made by Art Legacy. The rooms were noisy and unclean especially under the beds, poorly designed, I was constantly stubbing my toe. My friend was initially put in the wrong room. We hosted friends on the roof terrace one evening, drinks were incorrect and had to be sent back, some had finished their drinks before other drinks arrived. You're also pushed to tip with every service, no matter how poor.
This hotel did have decor more to my taste and the outside space, but in my view, not worth it
Amazing location - and the staff were exceptional
Pillows
We enjoyed this hotel. It had a convenient location walking distance to many attractions and close to a bus that went to the St. George Castle.
We had a junior suite which was spacious with a full living room area and bath with two sinks, walk in shower and giant bathtub.
The best part of the experience was the rooftop bar and the area outside the restaurant for meals and drinks. Amazing views!!
We had an incredible stay! The staff were exceptional and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Small touches including a celebration cake for my partner’s birthday. Can’t recommend the hotel enough!
My wife and I stayed for 2 nights end of April. Nice hotel and great rooftop bar. Upon checking in, and being a Leading Hotels of the World Aurleian member, manager on staff was dismissive- as my reservation was booked directly through Chase. He said he would need to call reservations to see if they could honor any status. I guess my mistake booking and linking through Chase- but not wanting any points, just some of the benefits- a five star hotel and member of the LHW, I would expect more. Nothing was received- in the end a late checkout was offered. Word of caution for other LHW members.
Other staff was nice and extremely personable.
Great hotel in a wonderful location ! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!
After disembarking from a luxury cruise and then we needed to spend one night in Lisbon - this rooftop bar had been recommended to us by a friend.
After sightseeing it was a lovely way to have some wine and light snacks at lunchtime
What made it special though, was the lovely staff -especially Francisco who made us so welcome
This man is a real asset to your hotel!
A nice oasis in a busy bustling city
Location, ambience, rooftop bar and fifth floor restaurant (breakfast), friendly staff.
The room keys which were bulky, needed for the elevator for every floor and for room access + it seemed challenging to issue two keys which is odd given you can’t get around the hotel without one.
The attention to detail in the room. Very warm welcome.
Generosity with the upgrade.
The breakfast options and excellent quality.
The staff were also spot on with their restaurant recommendations.
Please ask them. they wont disappoint and will also help with the reservations
Trip was too short.
The perfect hotel. A week stay in a suite and it was superb. The staff is the best ever. So friendly and they aim to please. Spaces so elegant, luxurious and serene
Room was very nice.Breakfast was good and the location was fair.
Dinner menu choices were limited and very expensive.
Beautiful hotel in a great section of Lisbon. Surrounded by wonderful restaurants and things to do. Close walk to the riverside and the old town in Alfama. Our room was very comfortable. All the people woking in the hotel were so helpful and extremely nice. Our breakfast was included and it was delicious! A great way to start the day overlooking the city and the river from the patio of the restaurant.
Nothing!!
Very beautiful hotel, the location is perfect!
The AC in the room was not always working.
Das Frühstück war hervorragend und die Lage ist fantastisch!
Great location, helpful staff, amazing views from restaurant and patio, vintage building
Elevators were sometimes slow. Also a lot of noisy people walking past late at night.
