Great hotel, great nights sleep, good location, fair price for the room and breakfast

The bar area was a little chilly
And the drinks were not presented in nice glasses, particularly as they were not cheap

Definitely would stay again, perfect when you’re visiting the Peak District.
Pros:

Perfect for what we needed, on arrival and check in the staff were lovely, informed us we had breakfast included and it was lovely food. All the staff were excellent. Room was huge and bed was super comfortable!

Cons:

Unfortunately when we stayed the pool and jacuzzi were just heating up after being broken so that let us down a bit, unfortunately was not warm enough for us to use.

A good hotel, clean and well appointed in a convenient location
Pros:

It was in a convenient location. The rooms were well appointed. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Cons:

The swimming pool area was small and billed as a spa. I would say it’s misleading to call it a spa.

room was spacious although the heater in the room was noisy

Cons:

Hi, The building was incredibly cold with the AC on in the dining room and bar area. the breakfast was average at best, very greasy and lacked any kind of quality. the coffee machines didn't pour the coffee correctly so there was a number of spilt and full coffee cups laying around the machine from other guests. dinner was ok but seemed to lack the same care and attention as breakfast. very pricey for what you were given
