The hotel is located just a 2-minute walk from the metro station, from which all the main attractions can be easily reached. The area is quiet, next to a hutong, and has a very relaxed, non-chaotic atmosphere. The laundry facilities are extremely convenient, and the breakfast is phenomenal, offering a wide variety of Chinese dishes. Allergens are clearly labeled, which is not something to be taken for granted in China.
The concierge service is incredibly helpful and can assist with booking tickets for various attractions, including Tiananmen Square. This is especially useful if you do not speak or read Chinese. The staff are exceptionally friendly, accommodating, and speak English very well.
As already mentioned in other reviews, the rooms are somewhat dated, so they don't feel particularly modern or fresh. However, they are by no means bad—in fact, the bed is extremely comfortable, and the blackout curtains do a great job of covering the huge window. The laundry facilities are very convenient and free to use, but be prepared for long waits, or consider doing your laundry during the day.

Location is great, Wangfujing Street is lovely, especially in the evenings, and you're a short taxi ride away from most historical sites. The room was big and comfortable, especially the bed, and we found it clean overall. Laundry service is available, which is always a plus point during big trips. We had drinks and tea in the lounge area and they were good. Compared to other hotels we've stayed at in China, I wouldn't say it's the biggest value for money, but you certainly get a comfortable stay in Beijing.
Breakfast was ok, a lot of variety but it lacked freshness and taste. While everyone at reception was kind and helpful, we did have some misunderstandings which led to unpleasant situations. They apologised and made up for it, which we appreciated, but we felt like those things shouldn't have happened in the first place in a hotel chain such as the Park Plaza.

Так получилось, что номер для семьи из 2 взрослых и 2 детей, который предложили автоматически в системе не давал возможности размещения нашей семьи, но отель предложил сделать апгрейд и в семейном номере все было замечательно. Детям подарили медведей, они были просто счастливы.
L'emplacement, proche d'une station de métro mais aussi à 10 15min a pied de la fameuse rue wangfujing. Dans un quartier assez chic et ils nous ont attribué une chambre avec 2 lits gratuitement car nous avons un enfant en bas âge. Je recommande vraiment

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location of hotel is about 10-15mins walk away from Wangfujing shopping area. Breakfast has good variety and area was spacious and clean.
The room is quite small for two and the design is very dated. Not enough space for bathroom countertop, hand towels are placed very closed to the floor, and toilet rolls positioned badly too.

A little impersonal and very little interaction with reception, breakfast staff although concierge was excellent and organised a trip to the Great Wall with John.
