Villa Carlotta exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the staff set the tone, warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful in a way that felt personal rather than transactional. Every request was met with care, and their communication throughout our stay was seamless.
The room itself was beautiful, full of lovely details that made it feel special rather than generic. It was clear that real thought had gone into the space.
Breakfast was a highlight: delicious food with a view that made it hard to leave the table. The perfect way to start each morning.
The location struck an ideal balance, quiet enough to feel like a retreat with my girlfriends, but close enough to the beaches and the center of Taormina that we never felt cut off. It made for the best of both worlds.
We would return without hesitation and recommend Villa Carlotta wholeheartedly to anyone visiting Taormina.

The 4-bedroom villa was beautiful. Four spacious bedrooms, a large living area and well-appointed kitchen. There was also plenty of outside space to sit and relax in the sun, overlooking a lovely garden with stunning views of the sea and Mount Etna. The villa is about a 10 minute walk from the main hotel, and located closer to the town centre than the main hotel - very close to the greek amphitheatre. The hotel staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The top-floor restaurant was very high quality for both dinner and breakfast - the dinner we had there was the best we had all week. The garden in the Babilonia cafe/restaurant next door to the villa was a lovely place for mid-morning coffee. Worth the price. Highly recommended.

I like the view of the room and restaurant on the roof top. Restaurant was very nice. It is 10 min walk to the center and 15 min walk to the Greek Theatre. The owner Gaia was very friendly.

We loved our stay in Hotel Villa Carlotta. The staff were friendly, helpful and fun. The hotel and our room were beautiful. It has a long history and is well positioned with amazing sea views and is only a short stroll to the Main Street of the old town. The restaurant food was sublime and the cocktails were deliciously original.

Restaurant was mediocre at best. Some staff were pretty off putting or not helpful. Others were great. Just inconsistent overall and didn’t rise to the price.
