Was a good way to start our ring road journey
Pros:

Great position overlooking the river in the heart of Selfoss. Room size and facilities were typical of most similar sized hotels. Breakfast was a buffet with some minor renovations taking place.

Was a good place to view the northern lights from our room.

Wonderful, spacious, free parking and a very hearty Breeakfast
Pros:

Located in the heart of town. The room was very spacious. Breakfast in the morning was hot and plentiful. Seating area was the biggest I have ever seen and all seats looked out on the river.

Cons:

I'm not a big fan of soft mattresses. We had two twin beds together. Each bed had a significant dip in the middle. It almost felt like a hammock. However, I did sleep very well!

Comfortable and a great breakfast
Pros:

The room was a little outdated but incredibly comfortable with a great bed and extra pillows. A kettle and a small fridge were also provided. Parking was excellent and the buffet breakfast was fantastic. The hotel is in a great spot close to many restaurants and has an inhouse restaurant too. Would highly recommend
