Nice short break (a week was plenty long enough).
Pros:

Staff helpful . We had an excellent room with huge terrace and hot tub. Location was great.

Cons:

So much of the area beyond the hotel was a building site and absolutely heaving with people.

Pros:

Pokój który mieliśmy - z jacuzzi był super. Sam pokój bez szału - w miarę duża łazienka - czysto - meble trochę już nadszarpnięte zębem czasu - ale taras z jacuzzi zrobił duże wow - przede wszystkim widok na morze - petarda. Dla takiego widoku - można tam spędzać dużo czasu. Na powitanie dostaliśmy tacę owoców oraz butelkę wina. Obsługa - super - bez zastrzeżeń - co więcej - zameldowanie od godz. 15 - a nam zaoferowano już pokój o 13. Śniadania w formie bufetu - przyzwoite. Parking - ok.

Cons:

W sumie to chyba nic - jedynie co trochę wysoki koszt do jakości - ale akurat każdy wie ile wydaje na pokój. Może jeszcze powoli zastanowić się nad wymianą mebli - bo są już trochę przestarzałe.

Kurzweilige Mischung aus Sightseeing und Badeurlaub
Pros:

Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Anlage ist insgesamt sehr groß, verfügt über einen Indoor-Pool und mehrere Außenpools. Zugang zum Meer gibt es - der besteht aber nicht aus einem Strand, sondern es gibt eine Leiter die wie zu einem Pool ins Meer führt. Es ist felsiger Untergrund und die Felsen fallen steil ab - also nichts für Nichtschwimmer. Vor allem nicht weil auch der Wellengang zwischendurch (bei vorbeifahrenden Booten) etwas stärker ausfallen kann und man schon aufpassen muss, dass einem eine Welle nicht zurück auf den Felsen drückt. Für geübte Schwimmer ist das absolut kein Problem. So stark ist der Wellengang auch wieder nicht, aber wer im Wasser unsicher ist, wird u.U. Angst haben. Der Vorteil bei der Sache: das Wasser ist sehr klar - beste Qualität, was nicht selbstverständlich ist. Ein nahegelegener Sandstrand war diesbezüglich weniger einladend. Da waren ständig viele Menschen im Wasser - ich würde sagen der Sandstrand war überfüllt - und hat auf mich einen eher schmutzigen Eindruck gemacht - wohl auch durch den aufgewirbelten Sand und vielleicht auch von der vielen Sonnencreme :-). Mir waren die Felsen und das dort klare Wasser jedenfalls bei Weitem lieber. Es gibt übrigens auch ein Fitness-Studio das seinen Namen verdient. In den meisten Hotels sind das ja eher alte Geräte die irgendwo nicht mehr gebraucht wurden und alibimäßig als Gym verkauft werden. In diesem Hotel sind Technogym-Geräte vorhanden modernster Bauweise. Wer also am Abend noch trainieren gehen möchte, findet hier alles was man so braucht und wird sich wohl fühlen dabei.

Cons:

Man braucht ein Transportmittel um zu den touristisch interessanten Hotspots zu gelangen, und die sind nicht gerade um die Ecke. Eine Bushaltestelle (Öffi) ist jedoch in fußläufiger Nähe und die Preise für Öffis sind spottbillig. Die Buslinie hat dort in der Nähe des Hotels seinen Anfang. Das ist gut, denn so bekommt man noch einen Sitzplatz. Bis man in Valetta einlangt, ist der Bus nämlich total überfüllt. Der Weg zurück mit dem Öffi ist beschwerlich - wenn doch dann einen Bus vom Busterminal in Valetta nehmen. Steigt man in Sliema zu, dann sind die Busse schon wieder überfüllt und man steht wahrscheinlich den ganzen Rückweg über - und der Rückweg ist lang, hat viele Haltestellen und bei dem dichten Verkehr müssen die Fahrer oft abrupt abbremsen - also gut festhalten! Besser Bolt oder Uber nehmen am Rückweg.
