Great accommodation, great room, friendly staff. It made our stay enjoyable
The air-conditioner was a bit old and didn’t blow very much hot air however there was a heater that compensated for that
Location
Close to the main street of Leura. Fairly quiet even though it was next to the main road. Although our room wasn't right at the front.
Secure underground car park.
From the start it wasn't great or even as good as expected. My wife went into check in while I waited in the car which is what we normally do at most accommodations on our road trip. Then I got a phone call from the receptionist to confirm that it was indeed my wife, tring to check in, because she wasn't on the booking which is never happened before. They also took a $50 holding deposit which in all my years booking through booking.com hasn't happened and then when we went to the room it stunk so badly of mold or damp that I can even go into the room so we went back and request another room. They try to assure us that it was alright and it didn't smell earlier but we insisted the smell was so strong I just couldn't go back in so they finally got us another room. But even that room had stains on the carpet, laminate coming off the cupboards and plaster coming off the ceiling.
Also the room is a little smaller than I expected and there's no room on the bench beside the sink to prepare anything or stack dishes because the microwave takes up all the space. Maybe that should be mounted up above or below
in a cupboard.
Great location
Why is there only 2 towels ? I love a towel for my hair after I have washed it. Does it really impact on your bottom line to provide 3 towels ?
Love that this place is close to Leura shops.
Too many keys just to get inside where you stay.
The proximity to everything. Railway station shops eateries pub . Hop on hop off bus stop is opposite
There are no lifts
So if you heavy luggage, request downstairs
Spacious for my family of 5, all rooms had heaters, I slept very well. Great location. Clean.
I don't have any complains.
Had brea
Location, comfortable bed, electric blanket
The cleaning products could have a milder scent, as the smell remained noticeable after housekeeping. Room inspections could also be more thorough, particularly when checking drawers and shelves during cleaning.
Luv.... the location. easy access to the shops & grocer. Thee staff were were amazing; friendly and most helpful. Also appreciated the covered carpark.
1. Room would be better with some maintenance, our bathroom window handle was broken, it was challenging to open & the window to shut out the cold breeze.
2. Would be good to consider changing the shower to handheld ones too, it would make our showering the little children easier.
3. The heater did give us some challenge as well. It ran out of hot water after bathing the kid and 2 showers. the remaining adults had to endure cold showers in the winter.
4. Guess, the Inn could take hospitality a step further by considering the type of family staying. we had a senior and a toddler with us, climbing the steps with all the bags was really really difficult.
But overall, it was a lovely stay.
