The hotel should be rated separately to the hotel. Bar restaurant , and kit hen staff, courteous, friendly and efficient.
The hotel is in serious need of decoration.All room contents are limited..No shower cubicle makes the ornately tiled floor slippy without handholds...the tea, coffee tray carries only oat milk..Fresh milk is in the fridge with other drinks, but seemingly has to be paid for.. At the outset we were charged a surplus £60, for possibility of using from the fridge, and likelihood of damage...we did neither, but the charge which we believed was returnable, has not been..
The heating in the hotel was not switched on, which as it was a cold night (11°) meant that we could never get our room warm.
Thin duvet and no blankets meant we spent the night freezing and unable to sleep.
To compound this when this fact was pointed out to reception response was it had been 20° recently.
You need to respond to the temp forecast, not what it had been.
We really appreciated having a car park on site. The room facilities were like home from home and very much appreciated. The bed was very comfortable. Lastly and most importantly the staff were excellent. Very helpful at check in and out. We will certainly recommend The Park Hotel and return when in the area.
There was some noise from the outside pub diners, which is to be expected, but after they left it was a lovely, quiet location.

Continently located. Close to town. Staff amazing. Especially housekeeping. You could tell they took was pride in their job. My room was fixed perfectly each day. I loved the fresh milk in the fridge touch! Front desk assisted me in rebooking for another stay. The restaurant was full of the perfect vibe, great menu.

Would have preferred not to have an accessible bathroom given we didn’t need one.
Honestly everything, the staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and spacious, fresh milk in the mini fridge.

Worst thing was the noise. There was a party in the bar and the dance music didn’t finish until midnight. So no sleeping until then.

It was difficult to get the double buggy through the doorways and the lift door. However, it was a really great hotel and we would definitely stay again. Thank you.
