Sleepless
Pros:

The room itself was nice.

Cons:

Breakfast was fairly pricey for what we got and had to pay for a decent coffee on top of that. Barmaid in public bar was hardly welcoming and made us feel as though we were putting her out by ordering what turned out to be a really expensive bar meal. Kept up by live music till late, then room parties and yelling in the hallway till 3am, then lack of sound proofing meant we were woken again by our next door neighbours being very friendly with each other at 5am. Gave up trying to sleep at 5.30.

Wonderful staff, great room and excellent restaurant
Pros:

Loved this lodge. Staff were excellent reception, housekeeping and restaurant staff all very accommodating. Stayed in a suite which was great. Ate in the restaurant for a number of dinners and had great food and service every time. Loved being able to have a drink in front of the fire pre dinner.

Cons:

The suite was not very soundproof and we could hear the people in the next room talking and watching TV.

Amazing stay in the suite
Pros:

Suite 2. Check in was easy even though it was late in the night. Staff called to check in on us before we arrived.
Clean beautiful room, spacious lounge, great size kitchen.
Huge lovely bathtub. Great bathroom. Thank you.

Pros:

Highly recommended this beautiful place it’s comfortable warm and clean unfortunately we couldn’t experience dinner as it was booked out because of the Country Music festival but I will be back next year and will pre book my table

Pros:

Lovely country setting with our lounge windows overlooking sheep grazing in pasture, wonderful 😀 My fish, chips and salad dinner was yummy, as was the cooked breakfast. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. Very much enjoyed our stay. Thanks ☺️
