Zweckmäßig, aber viele nervige Kleinigkeiten
Pros:

Das Zimmer sieht auf den ersten Blick schön aus.
Der Smart-TV beinhaltet ein Netflix-Konto.
Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung, obwohl die Auswahl etwas eingeschränkt ist.

Cons:

Physische Schlüssel statt Karten. Das verkehrt herum angebrachte Schloss fühlt sich von der Bedienung her komisch an und lässt sich beim Verlassen von außen nicht abschließen, und um es von innen zu verriegeln muss ein versteckter Schalter betätigt werden. Da es zudem keinen Zimmersafe gibt, ist das Zurücklassen von Wertsachen daher ein Risiko.
Steckdosen am Bett sind verdeckt oder belegt, die Steckdose am „Schreibtisch“ zieht sich beim Herausziehen des Steckers aus der Wand. Von drei Kleiderhaken fehlt einer, ein anderer fällt fast ab. Die Deckenlampe ist funzelig und löst sich auf, der Dimmer nutzlos. Die Wände sind sehr hellhörig, die Betten zu kurz und die Matratzen durchgelegen.
Das Licht im Bad schaltet automatisch einen sehr lauten Lüfter ein, der Duschabfluss lärmt ebenfalls - beides ist aus den Nachbarzimmern hörbar. Keine Toilettenbürste vorhanden. Nach dem Duschen steht das halbe Bad unter Wasser (Wischer hängt bereit).
Keine Klimaanlage. Selbst im kühlen isländischen August (10-16 °C) heizt sich das Zimmer durch die Sonne auf; das einzige kleine Fenster lässt sich nur einen Spalt öffnen.
Schreckliche Konnektivität: Kein Ethernet und schlechter Mobilfunkempfang. Das WLAN hatte in unserem Zimmer eine katastrophale Signalstärke und die Download-Geschwindigkeiten waren praktisch nicht vorhanden (selbst in der Lobby bei vollem Empfang) - was auch zu ständigem Puffern auf dem Fernseher führte.
Das WLAN ist zudem unsicher weil unverschlüsselt und um es noch schlimmer zu machen werden dann auch noch VPNs blockiert.
Das Reinigungspersonal begann lautstark früh morgens mit der Reinigung der anderen Zimmer. Dennoch lagen bei der Ankunft benutzte Taschentücher und ein Lippenstift unter dem Bett.

Excellent hotel for exploring the golden circle and to recover and relax afterwards
Pros:

Modern and clean hotel with spacious rooms and comfortable beds on a very central location to explore the golden circle. The breakfast was great.

Cons:

Room access only with a physical key, I had sone issues to lock the door but the friendly staff helped me out.

Ottima scelta in prossimità dei gayser, secret lagoon e golden circle.
Pros:

Una camera spaziosa e con arredi curati affacciata su una piccola corte interna con pietre di basalto e piccole piscine termali.
