Size of bedroom. Too small for a double room.
The room was clean, bed comfortable and everything worked fine . No noise. The breakfast was really good. Plentiful and good quality.

Beautiful old building and great location.
Customer service lacking. They are under staffed, couldn't find a soul to assist me on one occasion. Coffee served in a chipped cup at breakfast, dead flowers in the dining room that looked like they had been there for 2 weeks. Chaotic waiting line for a seat at breakfast on Saturday morning. Broken soap dispenser in the bathroom which was never changed, I was there for 3 days. Details are, for me, the things that make or break an experience and on this occasion, while the staff were nice enough they did not go above and beyond the call of duty. For example, I called reception to ask if there is a laundry service. "No". OK so is there a laundromat nearby? reply "Look at the map" not "Yes there is one just around the corner" (as there is), but google it! Staff need to be more accommodating and it would be a good place to stay, otherwise I would not recommend.

Localização excelente, funcionarios educados, o hotel é lindo, café da manhã muito gostoso. Perto de tudo e também perto das estações de trem e onibus.
Chegamos a noite e o ar condicionado do nosso quarto não estava funcionando, mas no dia seguinte nos trocaram de quarto e tudo resolvido. Ficamos na categoria mais em conta, os quartos são bem pequenos, mas foi tranquilo pois só iamos para dormir. Então não tivemos nenhum problema com isso.
I’ve stayed 4 times now and love the location,the breakfast,comfy beds,great a/c,history of building.
This room had no window but a fake picture to look like a window. It was tiny, my bag was very small but had to store it behind door, which was blocking our exit. It smelled of cigarettes. We were so tired of traveling we didn’t ask to be moved. And the hotel was very busy .
The location is excellent - near Kensington Gardens, two Underground stations, and several bus stops. The building is imposing with an intriguing history. The ground floor lobby and reception rooms are wood-panelled and a grand staircase leads to a majestic breakfast/dining room. The staff were attentive and helpful. The free water and fruit near the entrance were a thoughtful gesture.
The room was cramped and the bed was very high. The bath plug was hard to operate and there was no shower curtain, so when showering much of the water ended up on the bathroom floor.
Very old and the rooms are seriously outdated and need refurbishing.
