Gute Lage, historisches Gebäude
Pros:

Das Ambiente in den Gemeinschaftsräumen ist einmalig und das Personal sehr nett und ständig ansprechbar. Auch das Frühstück bietet eine gute Auswahl und einen netten Frühstücksraum, in dem man auch einen Platz findet, wenn man vor halb 9 frühstückt. Die Koffer werden auf das Zimmer gebracht, im Eingangsbereich stehen Äpfel und ein Wasserspender bereit. Die Lage des Hotel ist optimal. Zwei U-Bahnstationen sind in der unmittelbaren Nähe und auch der Bus fährt fast direkt vor der Haustür ab.

Cons:

Die Wahrscheinlichkeit ein angenehmes Zimmer zu bekommen, scheint eher ein Glücksspiel zu sein. Nicht alle Zimmer sind auf dem gleichen technischen und Renovierungsstand. Wir mussten unser Zimmer nach der ersten Nacht tauschen, weil die Klimaanlage im ersten Zimmer nicht auszustellen war und somit die ganze Nacht laut lief, sodass an schlafen kaum zu denken war. Nachdem man uns ein Zimmer im 7. Stock gezeigt habt, dass unglaublich stark gerochen hat, gab man uns ein Zimmer in der 2. Etage. Dieses war renoviert und für den Preis des Hotel deutlich annehmbarer. Die TV Programme sind nur auf Englisch.

Very disappointing
Pros:

The original features of the property were stunning

Cons:

The bedrooms & bathrooms were very small, & we paid for a ‘superior’ double. There was an extremely poor choice of just about everything in the bar (& we are not big drinkers, one of our party has mobility issues & we wanted an after-dinner drink, after walking back from a nearby restaurant)

Estaba cerca de todo lo que hay que ver , fácil de hacerlo en metro

Cons:

Hotel de 4 estrellas que parece de 1, muy caro para lo que es. La primera habitación que nos dieron tenía la ventana rota y las lámparas también, pedimos que los cambiaran y lo hicieron pero el cambio no fue diferente, lo dicho carísimo para lo que es.

Location was ver good. Breakfast was great with pleanty of choice and no waiting. Hotel is a gen historical an quirky

Cons:

The TV subtitles did not work and nobody could sort it out. Bar was small and the first day thexworker did not appear to know what she was doing

Pros:

The old building was beautiful. Friendly enough staff but maybe not enough of them at times.

Cons:

Tap was too big for sink and athrooms quite cramped. No usb post on sockets. Breakfast wasn't the best and no toast. Very busy in the morning with not enough staff on to cope.

Für einen Kurztripp nach London ausreichend. Zumal das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.
Pros:

Lage war sehr gut. Ruhige Nebenstraße und trotzdem sehr zentral. U-Bahnstation und Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Frühstück war auch ok. Zimmerlage ruhig. Personal an der Rezeption und im Frühstücksraum war sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind sehr klein und eng. Schrank ist nicht tief genug, um Sachen unterzubringen. Alles schon in die Jahre gekommen und renovierungsbedürftig.

The location is not worth the stay
Pros:

The apples. Being close to the underground and museums.

Cons:

The room was not as described in the booking, the was no AC (counter what was offered in the booking), the washroom was small (telephone booth sized shower, toilet up against the wall), we had to open a window featuring construction noises at 6:00am. I liked the location but would not stay here again. The bed mattress was flat on oneside so we slept on an angle

Good location for the park and the tube at Bayswater

Cons:

Air conditioning in my room wasn't working. Staff weren't transparent with me at check in. I had to try to sleep in a tiny room with an industrial fan which was very noisy and repack my bags the next day in preparation for moving to another room with AC. Turns out this was standard practice and was affecting a number of guests and rooms.

The breakfast room was over subscribed and service was community and offering was ordinary. Very during pastry and bread. Only drip coffee.

War ein toller Aufenthalt mit der Familie (7 Personen)

Die ausgezeichnete Lage. U-Bahn Stationen ganz in der Nähe und für ein Hotel, dass schon 150 Jahre alt ist sehr gepflegt und tolles Personal.

Cons:

Eigentlich kann ich nichts negatives finden.
