Great stay - once we moved rooms
Pros:

The staff were great at helping us change rooms. The bar downstairs is such an asset, cozy, good food and very friendly staff. Room service from the restaurant was excellent. The beds were super cozy in the updated room, very nice decor and views to the church, it was a relaxing space to come back to after days out. Good location for exploring the city. Taxi's can be found right outside very easily.

Cons:

The first room allocated was very dark and noisy, due to some work on a neighbouring hotel, which we were not aware of. In the bathrooms in both rooms, while clean and tidy, I found there was not enough space for 2 people to use, with all our toiletries and limited hanging space for towels or change of clothes it was a tight squeeze. The first bathroom did not have shampoo or hand soap to use, 2nd bathroom was fully stocked. Also with no air con or ventilation, the first room was not great. The second room had a ceiling fan and window we could open but still no ventilation in the bathroom.

Great place to stay when you are busy and just need a bed and shower.
Pros:

Had everything we needed as a base. The shower pressure was excellent.

Cons:

Could have done with somewhere to sit other than on the bed. No room for visitors!

Alot to desire
Pros:

The hotel is located near a lot of shops, the bed is comfortable, and the TV is fast and responsive.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the room had several issues, including dust, a dirty kettle, and a bathroom that smelled of mould and dampness due to a leaking sink and inadequate ventilation. The wall heater was also quite difficult to operate, and the blinds were quite dirty. The stay was also disrupted by smoke drifting in from the large gap under the door, and noise from the local nightlife.

Good inner city option
Pros:

Location, very clean, friendly staff, very good price

Cons:

Room was small and there was only a small window looking out on another building. The inner door’s bang shut very loudly.
