Lovely stay.
Pros:

I like the location of the hotel and relatively quiet. The lady who welcomed me was polite and knew her job well. Most of the staff were friendly and ready to assist and make sure our stay was comfortable. The room was just right. Bathroom was big and had all the necessary toiletries. Tea and coffee were provided. Food was excellent.

Cons:

The room would have been perfect with a small fridge in there.
There was no note showing what number to dial for reception. A little note or sticker will do. We weren't sure what to do with our tray and rubbish from the previous night so we took it down to reception.

Very pleasant. Clean and comfortable.
Pros:

The property was clean and comfortable with helpful staff and nicely designed rooms.

Cons:

The first room I was allocated had a really unpleasant smell, although the receptionist did move me immediately.

Great place to stay, great value, lovely staff.
Pros:

Lots of sockets around the room. Nice shower and bathroom. Comfortable beds, good aircon. Great breakfast. Staff very helpful

Cons:

Would have liked hand held shower head as well as rain shower but thats being picky. Tv signal not great...even on itv it kept cutting out

Comfy but not great. Parking was super expensive too.
Pros:

The communal area is pleasant

Cons:

There is No sound insulation and you can hear everything.
We had three rooms. One the windows didn’t close and one the air con came on on the middle of the night making a crazy noise.

Good breakfast, rooms could be cleaner.
Pros:

Good breakfast, plenty of choice, nice dining room

Cons:

The room was not as clean as I expected for the price. One chair was very soiled. The carpet had not been hoovered by the look of it. The bathroom could use a bath mat as the shower water escapes. The lighting was more style than substance; very dim. I was glad of the air conditioning. The bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

The staffs which is the responsible for breakfast are rude and their behaviour is not professional.
The room and pillows are dirty. The staffs do not care the guests' requests regarding the cleanliness. This hotel has been mentioned 4 stars but I think the manager of the Mercure brand has to deal with the internal management of this hotel. If Mercure doesn't oversee the internal management of this hotel as well as the behavior of its current staffs and personels, no one will return to this hotel again. This hotel has noted 4 stars in booking.com however the reality is that this hotel with the current status is in the same rank as a 2 star hotel which is so deceptive. I think the brand should supervise the staffs and internal management efficiency because it seems that they have not been trained or overseen properly.
