Great location
breakfast disgusting / dinner terrible
booked my car in and got a paking fine 2 weeks later
Big old property, still can maintain well
Dated and filthy
Staff and very clean
A little worn at the edges
Great cat parking. Out of town location is nice, but conversely is less convenient for local amenities.
Nothing in particular. It served a purpose and was exactly what I required. The main building and grounds are exceptional. However the lower grade rooms (judging by the one I was in and those nearby) are well worn and lacking a TLC. They are still very serviceable though, and this didn't detract very much from the score I have given, because the price was reflective, and fair.
Friendly staff.
Needs a freshening up, looks tired, paint job needed.
Near to town centre and railway.
Problem with half board. Coach parties take presidency over private bookings. Had to be quite forceful in getting a table in the restaurant. Did not want to eat meal in the bar..
Room was clean
£12 for a class of wine
