Pros:

Not to far from the water front

Cons:

Was very very dirty Even had to ask them to clean the shower could not walk around without socks as the floor was dirty and gritty
The sheets were not the cleanest
All in all was a waste of money and would not recommend to anyone

The pillows & bed

Cons:

Everything else, broken toilet, shower was crappy, in room phone didn't work, the couch only one side reclined the other was broken, they don't provide milk & they didn't provide fresh linen towels etc. The washing machine wouldn't work. No hangers to hang your clothing.

Cons:

Genuinely one of the worst ‘serviced’ apartments I’ve stayed at. Not only did my room have this stench that seemed to worsen the more days I stayed, the whole floor had this overwhelming smell. When I had first arrived there were stains on my bedding and pillows. The kitchen appliances wore worn out and not useable, the light in my bathroom had gone out, and the heater in my room did not seem to work. The images of these apartments do not at all reflect what the rooms actually look like. I’d understand if you were paying the price of a motel but for what I was paying, this was one of the most misleading and disappointing stays I’ve experienced.

A central, affordable, location to explore Auckland
Pros:

Great location for my requirements. Easy to get to using public transport. Very affordable for a mid-week stay. Great water pressure in the shower. The room was very clean and tidy and had everything I needed.

Cons:

There is quite a lot of road noise and being in the city it is pretty constant. If I stayed again, I'd request a room on the side of the building away from the road and perhaps even on a higher floor.

Cleanliness , kitchen facilities old and not working knobs missing from oven so could not use made reception aware of this on arrival at 2.30pm had to revisit reception at 7.30 still not fixed , no shower toiletries, no milk .

The receptionist was accommodating to our needs on arrival she was awesome the room was very good value for money and location would definitely stay again in the future the beds were comfortable, the shower pressure oooh yeah 🤌🏾 who needs exfoliating gloves when they have pressure showers 👍🏾 thank yous very much.

Great location and within walking distance to Aotea Square. Cleanliness of the room is a fail.
Pros:

Location, the size of the 2 bedroom apartment was decent.

Cons:

The kitchen didn't look like it was clean, there were grease stains on the oven door, dishwasher, fridge. The dishwasher handle was broken so you have to open the dishwasher from underneath. Kitchen sink was blocked the whole 3days. No dishwashing liquid or tea towels. Iron didn't work and no ironing board.
No instructions manual in the room or option on phone to call reception.
The bathroom door was broken, and the carpet in the room didn't look like it had been vacuumed.
The rubbish in the foyer was over filled, no one had come to empty the trash.

Kitchen was a big let down
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable and the location was pretty central and close to train and buses too. Plus also across from a small grocery store which you can get some basic needs.

Cons:

The kitchen wasn't really that usable, there wasnt any of the basic needs to use the oven, the microwave would start smoking when tried to be used plus was difficult to even turn on to begin with. The pot and fry pan they gave was too small. There wasn't any basic utensils for cooking with either and no tea cloth either and no sponge to clean with.

Which was really annoying since the whole point I booked this hotel was for the kitchen.

Stay was great but not upstairs noise till 12.30am😡
Pros:

It was central and able to walk to all locations within the central city.

Cons:

This is a complaint. We were in room 411 and above us in room 511 there was a terrible racket going on. Just so disrespectful and annoying.
I was asleep through this but my girlfriend in the next room was furious. At 12.30am she dialled the reception number and it stopped.
VR should look up who was staying in the room directly above 411 and send them a complaint letter😡😡
