We stayed for two days at the Terra Nostra Hotel in Furnas, Azores, and had a wonderful experience. The hotel staff knew that we were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, and they made our stay truly special.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated with the highest level of professionalism, kindness, and hospitality. Every member of the staff was attentive and genuinely committed to making our stay memorable.

The hotel is beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the service is exceptional. We are very grateful for the warm welcome and the special attention we received during such an important occasion.

We highly recommend Terra Nostra Hotel and hope to return in the future.

Thank you for helping us celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary in such a wonderful way.

Pros:

Sehr schönes Hotel, liebevoll gestaltet. Der Zugang zum Park ist super! Personal sehr freundlich. Zimmer sauber, Größe angenehm, Betten komfortabel, gute Kaffeemaschine. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Cons:

- Die Preise, vor allem für die Getränke, sind unverschämt hoch (The Gardener)
- Unmotiviertes Personal in der Bar (The Gardener) teilweise vielleicht aufgrund schlechter Organisation...
- Lüftung im Bad nicht funktionsfähig, Fenster im Zimmer klemmen (wenn man lüften möchte)
- WiFi langsam

Would definitely stay again for 2-3 nights for after hours park/pools access and central location
Pros:

Olivia the concierge was wonderful and helped with booking dinner reservations. When staying on the property you have 24/7 access to the attached park including the mineral pool and hot tubs. This was wonderful to have access to the park after it was closed to the public and made it a memorable portion of our trip. It was also a great location to explore the east half of the island. They also give you robes, slippers, and towels for the mineral pool as the water is brown and does stain swimwear, other fabrics easily

Cons:

The room was a nice size but was a bit pricey -especially considering our windows overlooked the roof of one of the buildings and that the room only had a double bed.

Must Stay in Furnas
Pros:

This hotel is located in a hot spring that you can use after hours. Located on beautiful grounds in an Art Deco hotel. The area around was walkable, and I was able to find other dining options for vegetarian needs. The walk to Furnas Lake was also beautiful.

Fijn hotel aan prachtig hotel
Pros:

Hotel ligt in, aan prachtig park met thermaal baden waar je (buiten openingstijden) gebruik van kan maken. Goed ontbijt met geweldige koffie. Erg verzorgd diner. Hele prettige staf.

Echt goed maar ook erg aan de prijs voor wat het biedt

Die besondere Architektur des Hotels im Art-déco-Stil ist außergewöhnlich. Das Personal war ausnahmslos freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Sauberkeit eine glatte 10/10.

Die Möglichkeit, als Hotelgast nachts den Park in aller Ruhe genießen zu können, war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Ich war bereits unzählige Male im Parque Terra Nostra, aber dieses Erlebnis ist anders – und ich werde definitiv wiederkommen. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls hervorragend und die Servicequalität die hier gelebt wird ist wirklich herausragend!

Pros:

This is a really wonderful place with a lovely garden and the thermal bath was just great. We enjoyed it very much. As it was my birhday upon arrival, we were greated with a bottle of sparkling wine in the room....thank you again for the lovely gesture . I appreciated that very much.

God frokost, hyggelig personale. Svært god mat i restauranten. Flotte omgivelser. Fikk bruke bassenget, de varme kildene og andre fasiliteter ut dagen, etter at jeg var sjekket ut.

Cons:

Noe slitt hotell. Blant annet hang ikke dokosten sammen.
