This was a really nice hotel on a beautiful property. Staying here gets you 24 hr access to the grounds and hot springs. I would definitely recommend staying here.
The breakfast was really good but skip the restaurant for dinner. It was overpriced and not very good.
The hotel was perfect in every way: the location, the kindness and professionalism of the staff, the cleanliness, the food, the bar and restaurant, and the complimentary access to the beautiful park. We had a wonderful stay!

If you are going to check-out this area, this hotel is a "must". The garden itself is stunning, and the thermal pools are enjoyable as well. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of fruit and a daily menu for eggs/pancakes/etc. Great service too from all the staff - hotel, restaurants, cleaning, etc. 10/10 would stay here again.

Обслуживание в баре отеля ну очень медленное, ходить в него перестали, обидно , претензий к кухне и бармену нет, все было вкусно, но вот ожидание.
Удивило отсутствие в спа зоне питьевой воды.

Obnoxious wedding group present during our stay. Maybe fireworks inside the park, given it terrifies birds and covers the park with trash is not the best idea. not every paid whim of visitors needs to be fulfilled.

Stayed here for 4 nights after our stay that the sister property in Ponta Delgada (Grand Hotel Acores, see other review).
Whilst this is a 4 star property compared to the 5 star Grand Hotel Acores, actually this hotel I liked slightly better mainly as the culinary side was much stronger.
The hotel itself is far from new but in good condition, rooms are a bit more basic than in Grand hotel Acores but fine overall. Leisure options in the hotel are ok, decent indoor pool but the gym is tiny and without proper equipment.
Highlight is clearly the Terra Nostra Gardens the hotel is set within and as a hotel guest you have the gardens and the hot spring outdoor pools to yourself before and after the gardens close to the public which is great.
The restaurants were good with a really decent breakfast and dinner at no the the main restaurant and the Sushi restaurant were also very good.
Overall happy with the stay although the room price is on the higher end of the scale for a 4 star property.
Service of staff very good in breakfast, cleaning, reception. And gardens are wow
