Our stay at Terra Nostra Garden Hotel was exceptional from beginning to end.
The hotel contacted us before arrival and arranged a flawless private transfer. On arrival, although our room was still being prepared, we were immediately given access to the beautiful Terra Nostra Botanical Garden and thermal pools, which was a wonderful gesture.
The room was elegant, spotless and very comfortable, with a lovely garden view, fresh fruit, a well-stocked minibar, bathrobes and quality bathroom amenities.
The food was outstanding. We particularly loved the Sushi Bar, the excellent breakfast and the restaurant, where every dish was beautifully prepared. The birthday breakfast served in our room was perfect, and the surprise bottle of champagne waiting for us later that evening made the celebration unforgettable.
The couples hot stone massage was fantastic, and every member of staff was friendly, professional and genuinely attentive.
What impressed us most was the attention to detail. Every evening we returned to find complimentary sweets waiting in our room, and throughout the stay we felt that the team truly cared about making our visit special.
This is easily one of the finest hotels we have stayed in. In our opinion, the overall experience feels closer to a five-star hotel than a four-star one. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting São Miguel.
