Great place to stay for a tourist holiday in Montreal
Pros:

Big, clean, and nice staff. Quiet and a great location in Old Town. Wonderful breakfast (European-style offerings and Montreal Bagels).

Cons:

It was a little shabby but still quite clean.

Great position in Montréal
Pros:

Our room (517) was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. It included a large living area with a sofa, dining table, and fully equipped kitchen, as well as a generous-sized bathroom and bedroom. We were also able to set up our three-year-old son's travel cot in the living room, and he slept very well.

The room was spotlessly clean, and the hotel is in an excellent location. It's about a 15-minute walk from Old Montréal, and, best of all, the airport bus stops literally right outside the hotel's entrance. Just a three-minute walk away is a metro station connecting three subway lines, making it easy to reach any part of Montréal. There is also a large supermarket nearby, along with a couple of nice cafés.

Breakfast was good, with a nice selection of food, and it was served in a pleasant, well-maintained dining area.

Cons:

The only downside was the refrigerator, which was extremely noisy. Falling asleep wasn't always easy because of the constant humming. On our first night, we thought it was the air conditioning or that something in the room wasn't working properly, but we eventually realized it was the refrigerator. Unfortunately, it was much louder than expected.

close to the lake and staff are nice.. rating 80%good

Cons:

parking is awful
when we check in ,the guy doesnt tell other info for exit, i have 2 seniors w/ me. when we park too dificult for 70yrs old & 85 yrs old. they walk and used stair all the way out to hotel. realy awful...i hope they ask customers if we have senior or not? very bad

Low budget, maar alles proper en aanwezig.
Ontbijt sober, maar alles ok. Fruit, yoghurt, kaas en hesp, toast, croissant, chocoladebroodje, gekookt ei.
Goede bedden.
Kitchenette in orde.
Zacht ronkende airco.

Cons:

Groezige buurt...
Mensen in Canada zijn niet meer gewoon om deur dicht te doen en laten de deur in het slot vallen, wat heel veel lawaai geeft, zeker 's nachts of vroeg in de ochtend.
Dunne muren, "geluid" van de buren.

Always A Great Stay While I'm In Montreal
Pros:

I like to stay at Le Hotel Roberval every time I visit Montreal. I like the kitchen facilities, the free breakfast, and the quick access to Berri UQAM metro station. My first time staying here in the summer, and I was glad the room had good AC, especially since the smoky air meant keeping the windows closed.

Cons:

The area is a bit run down, especially along St Catherine Street one block north, but I never felt unsafe.
