Beach house at the lodge
Pros:

My husband and I stayed in the beach house next to the hotel. It was great for us. The bed was really comfortable. Everything was clean. The location was perfect. Nothing really fancy but very comfortable and homey, which is what we like. There were only 2 of us and the size was perfect. I think any more than that and it might feel crowded. The only TV is in the bedroom, which was ok with us because we never even turned it on but that might be an issue for some. Everyone that works there is very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing beach getaway!
Pros:

The views were amazing! The balcony was by far the best spot. It was so nice, pretty, and peaceful! It's so close to the beach that the walk was even easy for us (husband has a bad hip and I have spine and leg problems). The staff were super friendly. The lady that checked us in treated us like we were old friends and the cleaning staff never failed to greet us with smiles. The water pressure was amazing in the shower and never had a hot water issue like you do in alot of places. It was also very close to several dining/shopping options! We will definitely come back here.

Cons:

The building is kinda dated, but very charming. The futon in our room was just kinda ick, simple solution...we just didn't use it. There was nothing actually wrong with it, I don't think. It just looked like something a broke college kid would have in their 1st apartment, that they found or bought at a thrift store.

The room did have a mildew smell. The AC was loud and I struggled to sleep at night do to the humidity and noise in the room.

Pros:

We always love staying here at the beach staff are super friendly and helpful. There is nothing like opening sliding doors and listening to the ocean right from our room. So grateful for this relaxation and rejuvenation .

Cons:

There is a little musty odor in some rooms and there should be some restriction on smoking skunk week as it did cause us to close the door and not listen to the ocean more often. Wish people could respect the no smoking policy and do so where it doesnt get into others rooms as well.
