The access to the Almond Tree Wellness Spa facilities, which includes indoor swimming pool, Vitality pool, Hamman, Sauna and Relaxation Room, has a cost of 15 Euros per person/day. The access for children up to 12 years old is free of charge, only allowed between 11 AM and 3 PM.

Gorgeous hotel. Spacious. Modern. Clean. Room was fab. No request was too much. The staff were absolutely fantastic- from staff at reception, to those greeting at the doors, carrying your luggage, the bar/restaurant staff - everyone was so friendly, helpful and welcoming. The hotel is about 5-10 min walk from the marina and that’s with a pram. There’s a supermarket and two pubs about 2 mins from the hotel. The hotel has private access directly onto the beach. Nice kiddie pool and kiddie play area.
És un molt bon hotel. Les instal·lacions són grans, molt ben cuidades i maques. El menjar boníssim. El personal super amable. Els llits són super grans i potser lo únic seria dir que són més aviat durs.
Els llits potser una miqueta més tous estaria bé, però és per dir alguna cosa a millorar. Tot al nivell d'un hotel de la seva qualitat.
excellent lunch, really friendly staff
The rooms are tired, as is the Hotel really, but I have heard that the owners, IHG, are refurbishing and rebranding the building ahead of the 2027 season .
We are experienced world-wide travellers but keep coming back to Vilamoura (6 times in sll) and to the Crowne Plaza Vilamoura in particular (4 consecutive years now) because the resort snd the hotel are as good ss it gets. In this hotel, every rom hss a sea view and a private balcony. We prefer the Vilamoura side for the wonderful sunsets and a high floor to enhance the view. The beach location and proximity to the harbour are brilliant. Above all, the staff team is large and the service fantastic.

Room had not been at 14.30 on 2 days when we returned to our room. Possibly this happens on all days
It was clean and the location was nice. The close approximation to the beach was convenient.
The location is nice and it is clean. Most of the staff were helpful and friendly. At the reception when we were checking out; the staff made a mistake with room service fees. They were charging us for something I didn’t order. With a lot of back and forth they checked and they were mistaken and then apologized. The staff who insisted that I made the order initially looked annoyed and didn’t even bother to apologize. Just check your invoice thoroughly when you check out.

Eerste kamer die we kregen was 2 aparte bedden. Goed opgelost, maar viel ons op een oudbollige kamer. 2e kamer was iets beter, maar in prijs en kwaliteit vind ik het toch te duur.

Rooms for five star hotel were quite basic
The staff hotel member at the reception was extremely unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable when checking out. We booked the towels and signed the paper- keep in mind, I didn’t have anything against that. But when I came up to him to say that I’m checking out, without specifying which type of card, he simply went “I need the card”. I thought the guy meant the room key card, so I said that I left it in the room. He looked at me like I was an idiot and told me to go back to the room and bring it to him. Assuming that I am in a 5 star hotel I told him that FIRST of all I cannot enter a room without a card, and SECOND is that I am a client of a hotel that positions themselves as a FIVE STAR hotel , therefore I asked for him to ask the cleaner to go and get it for me , whilst I wait in the lobby.
In the end I had to go there myself when he unwillingly gave me a room card and said in a very rude tone “here , the card”. Do I even have to explain anything else?
