Very disappointed,
Pros:

I don’t often write reviews but feel I should on this occasion, firstly the pros
Rooms are very spacious and kept clean we had clean towels daily and the housekeeping staff were brilliant our room was on the 15 th floor and we had an amazing side sea view and beautiful sun from 3.30pm onwards.
Now the cons the food was awful we did the all inclusive even the breakfast wasn’t up to much the food was exactly the same for breakfast lunch and dinner for the entire stay we knew exactly what we were going to have I think if you like fast food fried food then you will probably be ok, the salads were very basic and the deserts were just a small square of gateau and some vanilla mousse no jelly or rice pudding and there was ice cream. We ate out the last 2
Evenings and it was fab had a Chinese one nite and a steak the other nite .
I found hotel reception not very helpful I asked for an extra pillow on 3 occasions I was told of course we will sort that for you, in the end I gave up and used one of the bathrobes. All inclusive drinks on 2 occasions I ordered a Bailey’s and a glass of sangria it was brought to the table only to be told I had to pay as this was not included in the all inclusive, I’ve always drank this when all inclusive . We never went in the pool as it looked dark and murky the tiles at the bottom of the pool are not blue they are a dark green and it made the pool look dirty was not appealing at all, however they do have an upstairs sun terrace which was very nice with plenty of sun beds . I do read the reviews before staying in hotels but I like to make my own mind up but I’m afraid on this occasion most of them were accurate the question is would I stay here again the answer is no I think they need to make some changes it’s a shame as the rooms were amazing

Pros:

Cons:

הקפה פשוט לא טוב, מבאס על הבוקר חוץ מזה הכל טוב מאוד

Pros:

Very comfortable room and enjoyable breakfast
Pros:

Just returned from a five day stay in early July 2026.

The room on the 10th floor was spacious and modern with a comfortable bed and quiet air conditioning. Complimentary water and prosecco on ice was a nice unexpected touch. The cleanliness of the room was excellent and the housekeeper did a great job servicing the room every day. The room was very quiet with a large balcony and side sea view overlooking the gardens of the adjacent hotel. Bathrobes, pool towels, fridge & safe (€15 charge) also provided. As I used mobile data, I am unable to comment on Wifi speed. The bathroom was an adequate size and modern with a large step in shower and good water pressure. I couldn’t fault the room, 10/10.

I ate breakfast when the restaurant opened at 7am. There was plenty of choice with a very good selection of bread, cheeses, meats, fruit and cakes. I am unable to comment on the cooked breakfast but I enjoyed a fresh omelette one day which was very nice. The juices could have been improved with a limited selection and poor quality from a machine. The restaurant was always quiet at 7am, much busier later on.

I only had interactions with the reception and the waiters / waitresses at breakfast. Some of the reception staff seemed unhappy in their job but generally the staff were pleasant and helpful. As mentioned in some of the previous reviews, the lifts were slow at times.

I am unable to comment on the other facilities (like the pool or spa) as I was exploring Madeira in the day. Hotel has a very good location in the lido with lots of restaurants, shops and supermarket close by. The walk to Funchal takes 45 minutes or you can catch the hotels complimentary bus, public bus or taxi. I had a very good stay but would stay in a different hotel next time for a change of scenery.

Lovely hotel
Pros:

We stayed at this hotel in June had a fantastic time we were BB really enjoyed the breakfast in the morning to start the day . The hotel was lovely as were the staff we were very lucky and got an upgrade to a suite which was unbelievable on the 14th floor with a view to die for . Loved the position of the hotel as we could walk into Funchal plus there were plenty of good restaurants around the hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel

Not All Inclusive
Pros:

Hotel is lovely and staff especially Razual ( waiter)were really good , however, this should NOT be classed as all inclusive . The food choices were very limited and cold - even when arriving at the start of service. All inclusive guests were treated by some staff with disdain and like second class guests - just not good enough. This was not a cheap option but felt like it was. Snacks by the pool ( very limited period) were the only saving grace.
The pool was rather disappointing , always cold as it was positioned in the shade and small .
The hotel is set up for bed & breakfast guests and should be marketed as such .

Pros:

Lovely Hotel
Pros:

I have to say I was a bit worried reading some of the reviews but I needn't have. The hotel is beautiful, spotlessly clean and has a very chilled vibe about it.
As vegetarians we were worried there may not be enough options, the food was beautiful, great quality and lots of choice. The only criticism is the labelling, it would have been helpful if the food was labelled as vegetarian.
The hotel has nightly entertainment again bringing a chilled vibe whilst you enjoy a few drinks.
We had a deluxe sea view room which was beautiful.
The swimming pools and sun terraces were great, always availability for sun beds and the pools were quiet.
We had a wonderful stay here, the staff were always helpful and pleasant. I would definitely return.

Little things let this hotel down.
Pros:

The hotel was great. Staff were pleasant and helpful but just the little things that let it down. Shower blew hot and cold and not much water pressure. Breakfast in a morning was great however the evening meal was not enough choices. When you sit down your asked if you would like a drink. I have diabetes and on medication. I have to take this before having anything to eat. One night the waiter took the order from the table next to me and I was just ignored. Another night they took my order and missed the table next to me. Having said all that I had a fantastic week out would probably go back. It's just the attention to detail that needs a little work.
