We stayed here two weekends in a row for events and the service and atmosphere is always 5 star service. The area is great as well for any entertainment or night out with your partner.

Amazing experience for a friend’s milestone birthday celebration. The artisan pizza and cocktail making was fun and delicious. Staff were attentive and made our evening seamless and better than expected. Kudos to a stellar management and operations team. We will be coming back!

I highly recommend this hotel for private/semi-private events. I attended a friend’s milestone birthday party there. They hosted a pizza making class and cocktail/mocktail class for our group. It was such a creative & fun event. The staff were wonderful. The service was excellent and their attention to every detail made this celebration perfect. The space is beautiful. Open, elegant, with huge windows. I flew into town for this event. Posted pictures and my friends back home were envious. Highly recommend it.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, making it the perfect place to relax. Hotel manager Kingsley and the staff went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcomed, and their friendly service made a lasting impression. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a seamless and enjoyable experience, and I cannot wait to visit again.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for a few nights and really enjoyed our stay.The staff was friendly and check-in was quick,with helpful tips for nearby restaurants and attractions.Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable,with a nice view and a tidy bathroom.The kids loved the pool,and the breakfast buffet had enough variety for everyone.The location was convenient,close to shops and family friendly attractions. Overall,our stay was comfortable and enjoyable,and we would stay there again.And the hotel manager was fun to talk to and very very welcoming

This is my go-to getaway hotel for a staycation. The location is perfect for a relaxing stay with a beautiful view of the city (pictured below day and night views from different rooms). The atmosphere is calm and safe for a solo traveler. Many walkable shops & food places on a beautiful day.

The restaurant in the hotel is DELICIOUS. You can’t go wrong with breakfast buffet or the dinner menu options. The Starbucks is also perfectly convenient when I’m headed out in the morning and need a pick-me-up.

Rooms are ALWAYS clean and staff is welcoming, attentive, and professional.

Great price point for the experience, location and amenities included.

Celebrated my stepdaughter’s sweet 16 this past weekend at the Westin and I just have to say how accommodating all the hotel staff was! We had some travel issues gettint to our check-In time and the experience at the hotel really made up our whole trip! Multiple levels of the staff went out of their way to make sure our group (2 rooms) was comfortable and had a great weekend staff. Breakfast at the hotel was really good by the way and I constantly saw the Commentary restaurant filled with people throughout the weekend, which made me want to come back. Even the hotel manager or GM made a point to follow up with our group to make sure we were being taken care of… you can tell their staff is trained well. Thanks so much Westin

Our extended family arranged to have an annual event at this hotel, and people came from all over the country for a weekend. The hotel itself is pleasant and more than adequate in many ways, and the Front Desk staff is exceptional and honest and helpful.

Unfortunately however, the hotel uses what it calls it's "signature scent" to perfume what appears to be almost the whole hotel, including the entry area and certainly the bedroom we were assigned to stay in. Like many other people, I have a kind of asthmatic reaction to volatile organic compounds, like those found in aerosol and systemic scents. I could not stay in the hotel that night, and found a family member in the city to stay with. We found another hotel, and had no problems.

The family dinner we planned for some 40 to 50 people was great because of who was there, but the food was very, very poor and there was essentially no service, and the dishes that had been arranged for in advance had not actually been jprepared by the kitchen. The meal was also extremely expensive, but what we got was something like a salad bar with a piece of extraordinarily salty chicken.

I cannot recommend that anyone host an event at this hotel, until it undergoes a very major change in management and operational organization.

I read a review last week that was written sometime ago by someone else who had an event at the hotel who worn that we should never do that, but I thought it was just some loose cannon, maybe. It wasn't. Do not plan on a big family event at this hotel. The people in the hotel are lovely, but sometimes that's not enough.

Just about everything to do with this hotel was slightly off.

The front desk person forgot to give us the WiFi details upon check in. When we called the front desk, someone answered, said they would get it to us, then one of their colleagues immediately talked over them.

Stayed in Room 612: the door had an issue with the deadbolt resulting in us having to close it several times in order to lock properly. Also, one of the 2 beds in our room was not in good shape with one side caved in.

Staff at the Commentary had issues with taking food orders, and some of our items were overcooks. Also, a breakfast with no orange juice!?!?

The pool is nice, though the hot tub is apparently out of service? There were caution signs and the lifeguard said the “water was cold”.??

To add insult to injury, upon checkout, the front desk both did not send an email receipt like they said they would have AND RAN MY CREDIT CARD AGAIN for a room charge that had already been paid.

PLEASE DO BETTER!

Hotel is alright housekeeping had some issues. We had to wait for our room however did a call when it was ready. Would still recommend the hotel.

friendly warm atmosphere and staff. Location perfect. Stayed many times, consistant. We feel at home.

Pros: Clean common areas. Clean rooms. Extremely nice staff. Comfortable beds. Lots of eateries, shopping and entertainment nearby. Free breakfast buffet with real food and not just donuts. Beautiful dining area and bar inside hotel. Had issues with heating and they came in less than 5 min to fix. While under repair we got a space heater that definitely kept us toasty for a good nap before departing.

Cons: $40 for parking is insane. Got turned around and confused in parking garage and it’s easy to end up in another building if you take the wrong elevator.

Tips: If you don’t like city driving like me, take ride shares to your destinations instead of paying for parking at the malls etc.. Visit Pentagon city mall and Ballston mall. Eat and game at Punch Bowl Social. Enjoy family fun at Immersion gamebox.
