As i was there for work purposes great location lovely property, great grounds, staff extremely helpful, food was lovely, if in the area i would stay again and recommend
A little dated but they are in the middle of updating the property so it will be great to see the updated version
Golf course in very poor condition.
The receptionist was okay, the food was nice, we had a dinner, which was delicious. The room was big, the bath and water were great. The location was nice, quiet and pleasant.
I asked a young server (very unfriendly and impolite girl) at breakfast time to have three hash browns and three fried eggs, only two were brought to me. Had we had a nice plentiful breakfast, we would rate this place very highly. The food portions were very small, which was very disappointing - what a shame. We paid £5.00 for side vegetables, had three small carrots and five other vegetables, not worth the money. The hotel decor is tired but very spacious.
Although the rooms look tired they were clean and comfortable.
The staff were absolutely fabulous, very polite and incredibly helpful.

The hotel is full of character and the grounds are wonderful and the staff were very friendly and welcoming our room was very pleasant and comfortable, with two little faults the hand basin plug was faulty and the bathroom door lock didn't work. apart from that we could not fault the Hotel. and really quiet.
The surrounding area was lacking as in nothing else in the area, no shops or anything else of interest
A very nice hotel a little dated in some rooms. But very clean overall and good value. The cooked breakfast was made to order and was served freshly cooked nice and hot and tasted very nice indeed, especially wish to mention it was served by a very nice cheerful young waitress who made us feel so welcome.
Some upholstery chairs in our executive room were a bit marked and could do with upholstery cleaning. Bathroom was clean but some redecorating is required.

A pleasant hotel in a leafy location. Good breakfast & restaurant. Free parking. Decent size room. Shower good. Tea making facilities. TV works!
