Very friendly staff. Very helpful. Room was clean and bed comfortable.
Shower had very little pressure at all which was frustrating. WiFi kept cutting out.
Lovely grounds - it felt like a country retreat. Nice breakfast which we were able to add on in the morning. Comfortable good sized room.

The staff at the hotel were nice and very helpful. The hotel bar was pretty good, as was the one breakfast we had there. We didn't try dinner.
The room we had was very dated. The weather was hot and there wasn't any ac, just a fan. The sash windows opened a few inches but we couldn't seem to open them further and I didn't want to try and force them as I was worried they might break! The toilet flush was very poor, it worked but only after making sure the cistern was full and then having to tug the handle several times.....should have complained and asked for another room but we were on a really busy schedule. The shower was okay. The bed was comfortable enough. We asked for, and quickly got, sheets to use instead of the duvet. Which helped a bit with sleeping.

Place is a little bit 'tired'.
The room was comfortable but we needed a sheet rather than a duvet as it was very warm.
Rather annoyed that they charged me for parking my car. I appreciate that the car park was run by the local authority but they should have included parking in the cost of the room.

The Decor was very shabby could do with a good refurbishment
supplied two fans , bed was comfy
wasn't shown to our room couldn't find it had to go back and ask again then asked then to show us as the numbers was so small and had a name but wasn't told that, Kettle was disgusting with lime scale and old milk on the tray , bathroom was damp and the paint had blown on the walls
Quiet location on a golf course. Clean. Staff good.
Some updating required throughout hotel. Areas immediately outside the hotel would benefit from priodic cleaning & tidying.
