A convenient stay in Banff
Pros:

Clean, comfortable, lovely staff. Shower was ok (too small for my 6ft 4 husband). Our room had a lovely view of the river. Blackout blinds were a godsend. Parking at the hotel next door.

Cons:

Far too expensive for a 2 star hotel but that’s just Banff, which is a shame.

Tired hotel in great location.
Pros:

The location of this hotel was great for access to downtown Banff. The staff were very helpful and helped with our room problem promptly and efficiently. We enjoyed our stay and it was good value for Banff.

Cons:

The hotel is very tired and in need of an upgrade, carpets were worn and the electrics dodgy. We had a blown fuse on our first night and a patio door which would not shut properly. The staff addressed and put these problems right. The bathroom fittings were loose and the sink could not hold water.

Pros:

The Italian restaurant was nice and the food was delicious 😋.

Cons:

Jasmine at the reception made a big mistake and we lost $200.
The room (114) was small for the money we paid. Construction all around the hotel. No noise because it was a long weekend.

Booked in January ok. Booked a few days before staying absolutely dreadful. Beware of the system it has no sympathy

Pros:

Die Lage, Parkmöglichkeiten, mitbenutzung von "SPA" im Schwesterhotel, Frühsrück im Schwesterhotel (noch OK im Preis, auch gesundes vorhanden, Personal etwas überfordert)

Cons:

Sehr alte, ausgelegene, weiche Matrazen (sonst wäre noch eine 7 in Bewertung), Kissen sehr schlecht, alles sehr alt und renovierungsreif, Bad ziemlich unbequem, morgens kalt im Zimmer aber keine Heizung möglich (laut Personal vielleicht Ende September). Sehr schlechte Preis/Leistung aber eben Baff. Keine Lüftung und das Fenster öffnen nicht empfehlenswert wegen Züge und Kälte.

Small tight room with no air conditioning and staff was not helpful. Had to go to ground floor to get tea/coffee and cold water machine
