È vicinissimo alla stazione e alla piazza centrale
Location excellent, very close to coach station and city centre amenities.
Breakfast was excellent, a very good selection of hot and cold food.
It was however, the staff who turned a good stay into an excellent one.
Everything was excellent at the Park house hotel staff so friendly helpful and efficient will definitely be back to this hotel location is perfect too.
Very comfortable, great location in Galway city. Excellent staff.
Can be expensive during peak times in Summer.
As always perfect
Nothing
It was very conveniently located close to the station, rental car agency and Latin Quarters. The room was lovely and quiet despite the hotel being on a busy road.
The bathrooms are a bit dated but adequate.
The location was perfect—a block away from the craziness of the commercial district.
A little outdated.
Breakfast was great as was location.
HVAC system doesn’t work well. Room was never cool. Very slow Internet too, and no streaming TV options.
Location
Out dated, expensive
One of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. Currently traveling with a tour I was staying here for one night. I was excited about air conditioning, which is rare in Europe. Upon check-in, my AC was broken. I notified staff before heading to dinner; they set it to 23°C, but when I returned, the room had skyrocketed to 27°C. When I complained again, maintenance claimed I had to keep it at 23°C for it to 'keep up.' I walked the staff member three doors down to my young adult children's room to prove their AC was working perfectly, proving my unit was simply broken.Their only solution was a basic fan. Even with the windows open and the fan running, the room stayed at 26°C (nearly 79°F) all night long. It was one of the most uncomfortable sleeps I’ve ever had in my life. To make matters worse, when I requested a room change, they demanded an additional €45 to upgrade to a king bed. I’m currently in a room with a full bed and a single. In hindsight, I should have just paid the €45 to get some sleep, but it was the principle of the thing. I had already paid for a working room. It was their failure, not mine, and the audacity of management to want to charge me extra because their equipment was broken is ridiculous. They are entirely unaccommodating. Avoid this place if you value comfort and customer service."
The hotel was well-located, close to Central Park, cafes and pubs. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.
Extremely expensive for what was provided. Old fashion hotel room for almost 400€ for one might stay. Need refurbishment
Thenhotel was excellently located right in the heart of the city , next door to the train station. It was very comfortable.
Check in was supposed to be four , but we had to wait until 4.30 for our room-no communication from staff anout this. Offered tea but even though room wasready was not told until we asked. Room was very comfortable but a little dated. Its been a long time since I had to take a shower in a bath. Also very expensive.
The property was clean and comfortable and in a great location. We appreciated the air conditioning.
The staff were incredible except for the hostess at the restaurant. She was so rude to my daughter and me that we ended up leaving even though we were hungry and tired. It’s too bad, because the others were so friendly and helpful.
The friendless of the staff was just brilliant 👏
Nothing
This was our first visit to Ireland, which did not start off so well. The airline lost our luggage, and we did not have a lot of confidence our bags would catch up with us. The staff at The Park House were exceptional with their service! Front desk personnel knew of our situation and took a call from the airline when we missed it. When we returned to the hotel, Ohanna went above and beyond to try to assist us. She relayed the details of the call and spent a lot of time trying to get the airline back on the phone so we could update our next hotel information. She also assisted us with getting information for other tourist attractions and even made a phone call to confirm details about availability. In addition to the service, the hotel itself was very nice, and the food in the restaurant was excellent. I would absolutely stay here again - hopefully with all of the bags the next time.
