Room wasn’t very clean. Bathroom was dirty. Old soap holders on the walls we’re discussing.
Good location and view over the loch
Unfortunately, there were several disappointing aspects to my stay.
At breakfast, I picked up a chocolate muffin only to find that it was mouldy. I informed a member of staff and it was removed, but it was concerning to think that others from the same batch may already have been eaten.
The cleanliness of the room was also poor. There were several spiders on the ceiling when I arrived, and the room did not feel as though it had been properly cleaned. During my three-day stay, the room wasn't cleaned at all, and I eventually ran out of toilet roll. Even the toilets in the bar had no toilet roll when I went to use them.
The facilities description stated that toiletries were included, but the only toiletry provided was shower gel. There wasn't even anything available to wash my hands with, as the dispenser was missing.
Customer service at checkout was disappointing too. I wasn't asked whether I'd enjoyed my stay or if everything had been okay, and the member of staff didn't even say goodbye as I left.
Overall, the combination of poor cleanliness, lack of basic supplies and the mouldy food made the stay quite disappointing.
The rooms were a little old fashioned but had a great view of the loch and had everything we needed. They were spacious enough and breakfast was good.
We couldn't get the shower to work but that could've just been us. We reported it when we left and they said maintenance would check it out.

Camera con vista sul retro dell’hotel abbastanza terrificante. Tutto vecchio e trasandato. Stanza piccolissima, vecchia, moquette sporca e muta sul muro. Colazione da lasciar perdere, ci ha accolto un muffin ricoperto di muffa. Con la stessa cifra ho trovato stanze in giro per la Scozia decisamente di alto livello.
The location.
My room lacked any coat hooks. As a hotel in a prime hillwalking site, in a country that can experience wet weather, adequate coat hooks to hang up jackets and trousers to dry would be appreciated.

bar service and prices .... £VERY EXPENSIVE for a large vodka and a pint of lager is verging on 4 star hotel prices ... but its holiday season i suppose
La cama era cómoda. Está situado junto a un lago precioso, aunque no nos tocó una habitación con vistas.
El baño, a pesar de muy antiguo, estaba limpio. Necesita una reforma y cubrir algunas humedades de la pared que dan una imagen regulera. A pesar de todo, si estaba limpio.

Chill calme et élégance
Food was very good. Evening menu was varied. Breakfast was good but we arrived just after a bus of tourist had left and there was a delay in food and places. Poor staffing level in the restaurant due to sickness and an emergency elsewhere in hotel meant quite a delay.
Bathroom was tiny and soap dispenser broken. View from room was gas bottles and bins.
