Close to town and restaurant food was very good!
The bathroom was aged! The bathroom looked horrible!
The grout between the tiles had black mould!
The amazing staff worked with my partner and organized a beautiful proposal. Could not be more grateful!!!
It was a stunning hotel in a great location, room was huge, had an incredible view, cocktails and food were exceptional, wish we could have stayed longer

Love the views from the dinning room, also enjoyed the fireplace near the bar.
We didn’t like the Smell of Curry around the restaurant bar and reception for the 2 days of our stay. It was very strong.
Location and view
Quite
Clean room, comfortable bed & the views were amazing.
Not the best soundproofing, could hear chairs scraping in the morning during the breakfast rush on ground level beneath us. And there was a loud noise coming from the lift a few doors down that we would hear every now & then but it was all day & night long. Could also hear the voices in the room next door through the walls. But our biggest let down was that the tv’s are only compatible with android phones which meant we couldn’t watch tv to watch a movie when we wanted to relax after a long day out.
The highlight of our stay was definitely the stunning views overlooking Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains. The location was convenient and close enough to Queenstown to easily explore the area, while still being away from the busy town centre. We also thoroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfast each morning, which offered a good variety of food and was a great way to start the day.
I recently stayed at Mercure Resort Queenstown and unfortunately there were several aspects of the stay that were disappointing.
The bedding provided was very thin, which made it difficult to stay warm and comfortable during the colder Queenstown weather. The lighting in the room was also quite dim, making the space feel dark and making it difficult to read or get ready in the evenings.
The TV options were limited, with no suitable channels available for children to watch. In addition, both the Wi-Fi and mobile phone reception were very poor throughout our stay, which made it difficult to stay connected.
Housekeeping was also below expectations. While used towels were removed, the rubbish bins were not emptied and the room was not vacuumed during servicing.
The location and views were great, but improvements to room comfort, connectivity, entertainment options, and housekeeping would make a significant difference to the guest experience.
The location is convenient
It is cold in the room despite using the air conditioner at night. The duvet is very thin, see through thin. I had to ask for hot water bottle. Things were not topped up (sanitary bags, tea bags after the room cleaning). I understand that we need to save the planet, but some were running out and not replaced.
