Great place for families
Pros:

The size of the room, we all slept comfortably.

Cons:

Got a bit warm at night but the hotel did supply fans. So was fine. You cannot leave windows open if you are a light sleeper.

Nice hotel with good food in a prime location only minutes away walk from Newbury town centre
Pros:

I love staying here when I’m passing through Newbury , it’s a lovely old hotel in a super location with ample parking . Staff are always very friendly and helpful.

Pros:

2nd time here, great location in the town as a base, lovely hotel and stay overall and will return again.

Cons:

Shower over bath may need to be changed soon as water was splashing out when in use and quite a lot leaked out onto the floor that needed to be wiped up.

Pros:

The breakfast was very good staff so helpful and friendly,could have done with a stronger fan in the room it was not very powerful it was very warm ,love the hotel and staff and I must say the gardeners are fab and keeping the outside spotless and a pleasure to sit in the garden ,we will always keep coming back thank you so much xx

Convenient stay as local to visiting family but needs improvements in areas.
Pros:

Location, clean room.

Cons:

Rear entrance from car park not very inviting on arrival as it is dirty & used as a smoking area which you have to walk through on arrival! Room large shower head not secured , fell off when turned on . Not useable & dangerous . Room 104. Very noisy with heavy traffic as facing out to main road.

The room was tiny, so I had to hop along a box just to get in and out of bed, The room needs a rework,. The shower leaked badly and the bathroom fan sounded like it was about to take off,
