Palm Cove was perfect for a mini break and we had a most enjoyable stay.
Pros:

Great location right on the Esplanade across from the beach and very close to cafes and restaurants. Very nice pool ( though sadly cordoned off on one side and spa closed for refurbishment). It's a good sitting around area, with plenty of loungers. Nice area to relax especially if it's windy so sitting on the beach isn't an option.

Cons:

Our room (103 ) looked out to the roof of Rattle'n Hum next door ( a bit disappointing ).. If you sat or lay down on the lounger on the enclosed balcony you were only looking at a blank wall. On Saturday night you could hear the band playing in Rattle'n Hum -- not desperately loud and it fished at 11pm, so not a problem for us but others might not like it.
