Staff were lovely
Was hoping for a good nights sleep but didnt get it as the bedding sheets and duvet cover were very uncomfortable obviously had some sort of plastic protection which made things sweaty and uncomfortable.The room also needed a Deep clean, lots of dust cobwebs and grime around the bedside lights and the loo seat wasnt the cleanest either.Wasnt expecting the Hilton but did expect Clean.

There was no socket by my bed. This meant I could use my CPAP machine to aid my sleep.

We were disappointed with several aspects of our stay. We were given only one set of towels, and there was no extra space for seating in the room. The TV was very small and we were unable to connect any phone or device to it.
The breakfast was also an unexpected disappointment. The portions were very small, and we had to go to the service area to get food. Nobody asked us what we would like, and I had to pay extra for toast because it was not included in the full English breakfast. Because the portions were so small.
If I had known about these issues beforehand, I would never have booked breakfast at the hotel.
Location, a good place to break my journey south. Modernised to a high standard e.g walk in showers.
Personal thing but bed not very comfortable. Paying extra for parking, a recent new charge, especially when the state of the road is terrible. HGVs using the caravan only parking bays next to bedrooms. Perhaps not in total control of Days Inn but within their powers to complain to site management to stop the practice. Services short on services for meals.
