Desert Hot Springs Spa Hotel

Didn't understand the whole parking and resort fee system. Dated furniture and carpet. Make sure you get a room with a pool view, although that is not shown very clearly on the description.

Unruly couple

My bedding made me feel itchy all night which made it hard to sleep. Also the room adjacent from me there was people smoking and getting high and in and out all night until about 1 or 2 am, I had my son and husband in the room with me and could smell their substances in the air. It lingered into out room so I called security and they said they would handle it. But they still continued. So even though the price was great and the staff were great, I was just uncomfortable all night.

For starters after driving 2 hours thinking I was getting a certain price ( might I add that I'm on a budget) when checking in they said surprise there is now a parking fee of $14. And some other small fee, made my stay there from $79 to $115 ! Now I wouldn't have such a problem with it if for one it wasn't a steep fee 2 if there was a working gate that secures the property. Maybe a change in the fees on the app a memo ,something!Conviently it's being repaired. BEFORE THEY FIX IT ,there gannA ask to pay for parking . 9 xs out of 10 that gate is broke ,open . So if I parked in the lobby parking lot it's free but a few feet away where anyone can enter and park it's costing ME $14? SO that means anyone that wants to just use the facility that didn't pay parking or didn't pay for resort fee gets to ? There are no wristbands for resort passes, so why do I have to pay cause I rented a room. It would be better if I just used there amenities and parked in lobby for free. The place is very outdated falling apart at every seam the shower didn't work there were roaches and only 1 spa was working . This isn't my first time there I go prob 3 xs a month and look past the lil imperfections and flaws and I like the environment there but come on your gannA charge for parking now . And it's per night per vehicle. Show me where any upgrades or maintenance has been done to charge even more . And no they don't do anything about people that don't pay. Had I know I would have told her I walked there. I didn't want to argue this with the desk person it's not her fault or rules . Trying to get in touch with Mr .b was impossible and I walked up to other property to try n get ahold of him , the girls there were pretty rude. I will be following up. It said all taxes included and resort fee ect was all included in my $79 . As it usually is . This is how a gold member gets treated?

It’s old and isolation is poor, I could hear all my neighbors. Rooms could get renovated. Spa and hammam closed.

Old, very outdated rooms. Carpet, old drapes etc.

Everything. Dirty, old, dirty pools and hotel still hold part of my payment 74$ playing in volleyball with booking.com: they should pay/no, they should refund……
