Exceptional breakfast buffet, very modern and fit for purpose gym facilities. Beds and blankets very comfy. Bonus points for the slippers!
In addition to the wonderful creative design and very capable staff, the onsite Japanese restaurant was excellent value.
Different to the everyday experience and well worth exploring the ethos.
Vibe, decor, design, location
Dusty surfaces in room. Although there wasn’t any bad smells, it would be great if there was some fresh scents in the entire hotel and rooms to compliment the vibe.
I stayed at Hotel Indigo Brisbane City Centre for six nights on my first visit to Brisbane — and my first time back in Australia in more than twenty years. Although the hotel is not positioned as centrally as properties like the Hyatt Regency or InterContinental, it remains very accessible. A short walk brings you to major streets with banks, shopping arcades, restaurants, and other key city conveniences. In fact, the slightly off‑centre location made it enjoyable to walk a little each day, especially with Brisbane’s extremely pleasant winter weather right now in July.
The room design is modern and distinctive, with good cleanliness and a comfortable bed that made my week‑long stay restful.
My check‑in experience was a highlight. The room type I originally booked did not fully meet my expectations, and GSA/Gina at the front desk handled the situation with professionalism and grace. She personally showed me an alternative room and arranged an upgrade with the duty manager-Bella’s approval. Her calm, courteous manner and proactive approach left a strong impression and set a positive tone for the entire stay.
Staff interactions throughout the week were generally friendly, and the hotel maintained consistent service. A few enhancements — such as providing more local neighbourhood information in the room or improving sound insulation — could further elevate the guest experience. Overall, Hotel Indigo Brisbane City Centre offers a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would recommend it to travellers visiting Brisbane.
The property was clean and very modern. Even though it was downtown, our room was quiet and it was easy to sleep. The beds were comfortable and the room was well laid out and designed.
The room was well appointed with cool styling that made it feel like a funky time away. The service and amenities were great. We loved the room service menu and the resturant offerings and service was amazing.
