Super domaine
Pros:

Emplacement idéal, en dehors de la ville mais avec un arrêt de bus devant le domaine qui amène directement au centre-ville (compter 30 minutes de bus, 2.40£ par adulte). Superbe domaine, belles infrastructures, place de jeu pour les enfants. super calme. Il y avait un mariage lors de notre séjour, mais nous n'avons entendu aucune nuisance sonore. Un peu vieillot, mais dans le style ça va assez bien, très propre. Le restaurant était très bien aussi, le personnel très sympathique.

Cons:

Détails : on aurait apprécier des peignoirs pour la piscine dans la chambre, car il y avait pas mal de trajets dans les couloirs entre la chambre et la piscine. Par contre, les vestiaires de la piscine sont super, donc on peut aussi se changer dans ceux-ci.
Le lit était un peu étroit.

Pros:

Das Fitnessangebot, insbesondere die tollen, inkludierten Fitnesskurse wie Bodybalance und Bodycore. Man hätte auch Yoga und Pilates wählen können. Sehr gute Ausstattung des Fitnesscenters. Sehr gutes Frühstück.

Cons:

Die Anbindung mit dem Bus nach Edinburgh dauert länger als von Google angegeben,
aber machbar.

Relaxing and rejuvenating vacation home with lots of activities
Pros:

Magnificent property with manicured golf course overlooking beautiful century building. The grounds are well kept and the driving range was excellent. The lawns were abundant with apple and Cherry trees.
The staff was polite and welcoming. Breakfast was fine.
A fine Scottish traditional property🌹🌹

Cons:

I would advise them to have a multicusine kitchen. The options for vegans and vegetarians were very limited.
The most annoying part of the stay was the salon and spa service. Looks like a third party. The therapist were impolite and not forthcoming. Information was sparsely given. Horrible experience. Advise the management to change them or take them to task as they were the most bitter experience in a wonderfully relaxing vacation

Value for money / Experience = Poor
Pros:

Attending for a wedding. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Nothing exceptionally special considering paid almost £500 for 2 nights.

Cons:

Attending a wedding. Arrived Friday to 15mins Que for the bar all evening. Breakfast nothing overly special for a Scottish 4* resort. Could showcase Scottish produce better. Attended wedding where guests left standing until highlighted by photographers not enough chairs, bridesmaids belonging not returned to rooms as and when told, food at wedding very poor. Beef like rubber, pudding not worth asking about and bar Que again 15mins all night. The place its self is okay but for the money spent nothing special. Wouldn’t recommend a stay or a wedding.

On the whole the stay was mostly a good experience.
Pros:

Breakfast was ok - the main options were allocated up several steps from the main restaurant. I found this difficult as I needed one hand free to hold on to the banister -staff were not proactive asking if you wanted to order from the menu - we were more aware on second day and ordered from the menu hence a better experience.

Cons:

Staff to be more aware and proactive especially after being shown to a table - once seated a staff member on table duty should ask if you require a cooked option from the menu.
Also it was exceptionally hot in the room - no air con only a very noisy electrical fan. The pillows were very soft and had no pillow protectors - because of this we had two uncomfortable nights.

Great place with negative staff members
Pros:

The hotel is in a beautiful setting loved the beauty of the place.

Cons:

The hotel staff is generally nice young people working hard to serve the bar staff exceptional.
But a duty manager Katie was an exceptionally rude person i have ever encountered in my 40 years of travel, she is not hospitality industry material. After a 24 night stay we requested a late check out bu 1 pm. She had no idea how to respond to a guest and wrote a obnoxious letter threatening us i was shocked. Complained to guest relations before check out.(SHE NEEDS HELP WITH WHATEVER HERS PROBLEMS ARE. GOD HELP HER).
the guest relations manager Steven was the other extreme such a wonderful and exceptional professional.

Très grand domaine, les chambres sont belles et confortables.
Il y a de nombreuses activités proposées dont la piscine intérieure.

Cons:

Mauvaise isolation, on entend vraiment tout ce qu'il se passe dans les chambres à côté.
