Al check in il personale ha mostrato perplessità per il letto matrimoniale essendo due uomini; sulle piastrelle della doccia c’erano capelli, la coperta aveva una macchia di sangue rappreso? A differenze delle foto proposte le camere sono poco curate, presentato tracce di muffa nei bagni, porte comunicanti con altre camere, pannelli al soffitto poco stabili, lampadine dei lumi non presenti.

Pros:

The location close to the city centre and train station, and ideal to commute to Siena. The staff was nice, especially the ladies at the breakfast bar. Breakfast offers a large choice of food. The AC in the room is very efficient.

Cons:

No soundproofing at all, you can hear the entire floor from your room (people on the phone, watching TV like they're in their own house, doors being slammed because nobody can actually close a door without letting it slam. The bathroom needs a bit of repairs (the shower wasn't functioning in its entirety). Cleaning happened the day before I left, although I didn't ask for it, they couldn't wait a day till I was gone, and they ask you not to waste laundry but they change your towels anyway, and throw away soap that you can still use for another day and the plastic cup as well, such a waste!

Pros:

Séjour très agréable dans cet hôtel, accessible depuis la gare, une jolie chambre, literie confortable, petit déjeuner copieux et varié. Un personnel au top tout particulièrement un grand merci à la jeune femme de l'accueil qui nous a bien aidé à gérer en urgence la suite de notre séjour en Toscane après l'annulation la veille de notre réservation confirmée sur Florence.
Bus devant la gare (15 minutes à pieds) pour aller à San Gimignano et Sienne, paiement par carte bleue dans le bus, mais attention de bien valider en montant à bord bien sûr mais surtout en descendant même si le chauffeur s'impatiente....... (C'est du vécu🙂)sinon facturation du trajet jusqu'au terminus.

I was checked in by a friendly and lovely man working the night shift, as I arrived around midnight. He was super sweet and his English was very good!

There's free parking outside, and the parking lot is situated adjacent to a police station, so it should be a pretty safe place to park your car. But if you are on the lamb from the police, this might not be the best place for you. Hehe.

I only had a brief stay during for the night, so I cannot tell you too much about the hotel or the facilities. I prioriticed sleep, so I did not try the breakfast.

I did however enjoy the more traditional way of running the hotel - where you get physical keys, receive a bottle of water uppon check in, there's plenty of towels (and they were huge!).

Overall I had a good night, loved the AC in the heat wave, the shower was great!
