The staff were the best thing about the place, friendly and helpful. The location is good, just a 15 minute walk from central train station and the bus station. Walking distance from many sites like the cathedral, Necropolis, MoMA. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores in walking distance. There are privacy curtains on the beds.
In 20 years of staying in hostels around the world, including several in the UK, this is the only one I've come across that charges for requesting a bottom or top bunk and for storing luggage before check in/after check out. It's also the only one I've encountered with no way for clients to prepare food, not even a microwave, which drastically impacts dietary choices if you want to save money by not eating at a restaurant. Furthermore, the rooms were not cleaned daily. The waste bin in the bathroom was overflowing. There is not enough ventilation in the bathrooms as the bath mat remained soaked all day and night from 6 people showering. Furthermore, the hallways have a musty smell. The mattresses are thin.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Each bed had its own reading light, power socket and a small shelf for personal belongings. The curtains around the beds were also a nice touch and provided good privacy. The lockers were large enough to store carry-on luggage and could be locked securely.
Towels and luggage storage (before checkin and after checkout) were available only for an extra charge. Also, the bathroom and toilet were in the same room, which could be inconvenient when sharing a dormitory with a larger number of people.
It’s a friendly, organised, safe and clean hostel in the city centre. There’s some interesting restaurants and pubs nearby and it’s a good place to stay for a short time in Glasgow

Es lo justo para pasar una noche. No me quedaría más. La habitación muy oscura. No nos parece bien que cobren por dejar la maleta un par de horas mientras hacíamos tiempo en la ciudad hasta la hora del avión.

They didnt put more toilet paper in the toilet for the 2 nights that I was there. The building is under construction and I woke up everyday hearing noises from it. There was no place where I could refill bottles of water.

Było głośno i brudno. Gdy przyszliśmy do obiektu na naszej pościeli była jakaś plama, a gdy poprosiliśmy o zmianę to pan z recepcji zmieniał ją sam przy nas w taki sposób, że cała nowa pościel leżała na brudnej ziemii bo sam sobie nie dawał rady i zmieniał ją na podłodze - obrzydliwe. Nie ma nawet kuchni dostępnej dla gości, w której by można było nalać sobie gorącą wodę, zamiast tego trzeba płacić za wodę w automacie na kawę. „Kuchnia” to tylko taka w której można wykupić śniadanie :(
El baño de la habitación estaba lleno de pelos. El colchón podría ser más cómodo, al final te acabas clavando la espalda.No dispone de zonas comunes agradables (solo una sala con mesas y sillas).

Very nice and helpful staff. Good location. Rooms are well equipped. Great bathroom in my shared room as well.
Only downside would be the fact that the water is not drinkable in the rooms so you are dependent on the staff to fill in you bottle (but they are very nice!)

Ich hatte vorab um ein unteres Bett gebeten und das hat geklappt.
Für das Aufbewahren von Gepäck vor dem Check-In wurde eine Gebühr erhoben. Die MIete für ein Handtuch war relativ hoch (im Vergleich zu anderen Hostels im Land).
