Air conditioning not working although notified in advance.
David Lloyd facilties available burlt was not notified in advance so could not take advantage of this.

Liked the room and bathroom decor
There was a bleeping noise in the corridor, but didn’t disturb us n the room. Bathroom seemed smelly but less so after flushing a few times.
Overnight staff was very friendly.
Breakfast was nice and lots of options
Ants all over the bathroom and on one bed. Had to move rooms.
2nd room - No cups and only 1 towel between 4 of us. Room was too hot as no aircon or fan.
Once given a fan the plug was broken (main pin on plug)so couldn’t be used.
Check in staff told us wrong information about the swimming pool next doors
Advertises they have a games room when they don’t.

Lovely hotel. Lots of history. Clean and pleasant rooms
Food was atrocious and expensive. Many items not available at Dinner and breakfast buffet items poorly maintained so key items missing there.

The all day menu seemed quite limited to other Crown Plaza hotels that I have stayed in.
