Pros:

I stayed at this hotel with my family. It was not my first time visiting Spain or the Costa del Sol, and before booking I spent some time checking the hotel website and reading reviews from both this year and last year. So I already knew that it was a very family-friendly hotel with lots of activities for children.

My 5-year-old daughter absolutely loved the Kids Club and all the staff there. She asked every day if she could spend some time at the club. A big thank you to the whole Kids Club team for making her holiday so special. She still remembers the activities, games and all the fun she had there.

We also really liked the layout of the hotel. Everything is close by, so you don't need to walk far between the restaurants, pool and other areas. There are plenty of activities during the day, especially for families with children.

Cons:

Regarding the food, I saw that many reviews from last year mentioned a lack of variety. I personally didn't find this to be a problem. I think there was enough choice for different tastes, and we were generally happy with the food.

However, I found the system for ordering drinks in the restaurant quite confusing and uncomfortable. Every time we entered for lunch or dinner, our room number was checked by the restaurant host, which is completely normal in hotels. We were then shown to our table and offered drinks.

Water was available in the restaurant, which was more than enough for me as I don't drink soft drinks or alcohol. The strange part was that when we were leaving the restaurant, our room number was checked again. One day, a member of staff even ran after us to check our room number and see if we had ordered any extra drinks. This made me feel quite uncomfortable.

I asked the Front Desk to explain the system because I have worked in several hotels myself and had never experienced this before. I was told it was for security, in case someone ordered drinks and gave another guest's room number. I understand the reason, but I don't think checking every guest twice or running after guests when they leave is the best solution. There should be a more organised and comfortable system.

I also noticed a problem with the ventilation in the lunch restaurant. Every time we left after lunch, our clothes has smelled strongly of food.

Another small point is that the waiters were sometimes very quick to remove plates and cutlery as soon as we finished eating. Sometimes we were still sitting at the table and deciding if we wanted something else, but our cutlery had already been taken away. It was then not always easy to find clean cutlery again.

Unfortunately, housekeeping was also disappointing. Our room was only properly cleaned on the last day of our stay.

Pros:

First and foremost, the staff make you feel truly welcome. Hotel team always kind, warm, and ready with a smile. It was our first time letting the kids join the animation team, and they came back happy and tired:).

​The hotel is exceptionally well-managed. The food was really good with a great variety every day. Location-wise, it’s not far from the beach, though walking back uphill in 30°C+ heat can be a bit challenging. No worries, you can easily take the courtesy shuttle bus that runs between the hotel and two nearby beaches.

To top it all off, you get lovely, relaxing sea views even if the hotel isn't directly on the beachfront.

Cons:

Small suggestion for improvement: If room setup includes two single beds joined together, it would be great to have a simple way to strap or connect them. This would prevent them from sliding apart if a child climbs in with parents during the night!

Respecto a lo se esperaba, una decepción.
Pros:

Habitación y la limpieza de la misma.
En recepción en cuanto les dices que tienes algún problema o inconveniente, intentan poner solución de manera rápida.

Cons:

El servicio de limpieza de las habitaciones despierta a todo el mundo a las 7:30-8:30 con su tono elevado en los pasillos (gritando, no es normal que se despierte a los clientes de esa manera, TODOS LOS DIAS).
No puede ser que el servicio de habitaciones no haga una habitación antes de las 15:00 de la tarde (varios días).
Dos días nos sentimos "vacilados" con uno de los conductores de la furgoneta que te lleva y trae de a playa, una por llegar tarde alegando problemas de tráfico (?) y otra comentando que la parada no era la que decíamos como clientes, cuando en recepción nos dejaron bien claro donde era. Curioso que otro día, con un conductor diferente, no tuvimos problemas.
Mala calidad del buffet (comida y cena, el desayuno sin problema), el precio que se paga por un todo incluido no es comprensible con lo que se come después, una auténtica decepción.

No me gustó nada el buffet, muy poca variedad y todos los dias tanto en la comida como en la cena era exactamente lo mismo,comida bastante mal y las noches temáticas en el buffet me hacían mucha gracia pq no varía absolutamente nada,solo metían un producto que hiciera referencia a la noche temática.
Volvería pero no en pensión completa
