Convenient clean
Rooftop facilities a mixture of levels and views were not nearly as good as expected.
No quilt provided for bed, just a sheet. Blankets in cupboard did not cover full bed to achieve a fall down each side.
A very nice hotel with a beautiful panoramic view of Rome rooftop patio restaurant.
Small rooms. Small and slow elevator.Friendly staff.
Restaurant food was very good although choices were limited so don’t be expecting a burger and fries.
Free self serve continental breakfast also on the roof top patio.
It’s located near the train station (although you can’t see it) but not recommended to go exploring near that area at night.
If you are energetic it is within walking distance of the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps (all under 2 kms) plus lots of restaurants and shopping.
We stayed at Hotel Diana Rooftop Bar in Rome in May for three nights after booking through Love Holidays back in September 2025. Before our visit, I emailed the hotel to mention we’d be celebrating a birthday during our stay and asked about arranging any special touches, but unfortunately never received a reply.
On arrival, the welcome felt a little abrupt and we were simply handed our room card. The reception and entrance area have clearly been recently renovated and look sleek, modern, and very clean. Our room on the second floor was more dated in comparison, but it was clean and perfectly adequate for what we needed.
A lot of reviews mention street noise, but honestly we didn’t find this to be an issue at all.
The rooftop bar itself was lovely, although it was occasionally closed for private events, meaning we couldn’t use it one evening. Another time we visited, we enjoyed absolutely glorious views across the city. Drinks were definitely more expensive than nearby bars, but you are paying for the location and views. Surprisingly, both times we visited it was very quiet.
Breakfast was fairly basic and lacked much variety, with more of an American-style offering. We ate there on the first morning but afterwards chose to explore nearby cafés instead, where we found much better coffee and pastries. That said, if you just want to fill up before a day of sightseeing, enjoy the rooftop views, and don’t mind fairly mediocre included options, it does the job.
We were out exploring from around 7am until 10pm most days and love walking, so for us this hotel was ideal — clean, in a safe area, and within walking distance of many major sights. However, if you’re looking for a more luxurious city break experience, you may want to look elsewhere.
This is a nice hotel and a decent part of town, close to Termini train station (a 7 min walk) and lots of Rome's attractions. There's a nice restaurant on top of the hotel that has good food and good service. This is not a four or five star hotel in terms of amenities, but it's clean, safe, decent, and convenient. I stayed 3 nights and the room we were in was clean and comfortable, but it was not fancy in any way. Very utilitarian. If you're looking for a clean and safe place to stay on a mid-level budget, this is it. Front desk staff was accommodating. There is a bellman and there are three elevators in this hotel. Free breakfast each morning 7-10 a.m. was good -- more than continental, they had eggs and meats. I would totally stay here again.
Great location, nice lobby, staff very nice!
Nothing, no complaints
Herbirşeyi çok sevdim. Reception hizmetleri süperdi. Yardımsever bir insanlardılar. Otel rahatlığı ve yataklar, televizyon ve kahvaltı seçenekleri çok iyi.
The roof top garden bar is great.
The room was warm and while the air-conditioning seemed to be working, they public areas were cooler than our room.
I’m so glad I chose this hotel for my first trip to Rome. The hotel was lovely and staff were amazing!
It was also my first solo trip, and while there I accidentally got locked out of my phone. The staff at reception were incredible and helped me to get another boarding pass printed out (as mine was on my locked out phone) I honestly can’t thank them enough!
The roof top garden bar and restaurant was so beautiful and the food was so good. Best Carbonara I’ve tasted!
The staff at the roof top bar and restaurant were great and so welcoming.
My room was lovely and clean, with a comfortable bed, nice and quiet on a night. It perfect for what I needed.
The location was great within easy walking distance for me to Colosseum, Trevi fountain, Roman forum and all of the other mind blowing places I wanted to see.
I left a part of my heart and soul in Rome and I will definitely be back in this mind blowing city again soon!

Fabulous hotel, highly recommended. The staff were amazing, really went out of their way to be helpful. The rooftop bar is an added extra, lovely for an evening drink. The rooms are spacious and the beds are really comfy, very clean. The location couldn't be better, within walking distance to the attractions of Rome and plenty of restaurants near by. The metro only a few minutes away.
