Staff was excellent.
Pros:

Our train got cancelled and had to stay in this hotel as an emergency accommodation.
Receptionist was excellent, he offered us a free breakfast. Hotel service was better than the OBB train service in Venice.

Cons:

We had to carry our heavy suitcase ourselves with 22 steps before entering the hotel as they had porter service only before 9pm.

Great location, some QoC improvements possible
Pros:

It is located close to the train station and the Palazzo Ducale is 30 minutes footwalk away.

The bathroom was clean and modern. Most importantly, it offered warm water from the shower. In addition, the room had configurable AC. There was sufficient space for everything.

Cons:

There were only two power sockets usable, the WiFi existed but wasn’t stable enough to stream live TV and you could only load devices while you were in the room. This was because the room card needs to be inserted for the sockets to be active.

The light in the bathroom is activated by motion sensor and dependent on time of day. If you go to the bed you should close the door to the bathroom to minimize the risk of triggering it and then having to wait on the bed until the light goes off after a few minutes.

Cons:

לא מעט מדרגות מדלת הכניסה ועד הקבלה. לא קל עם מזוודות ועגלות של ילדים. כשהזמנתי בדקתי ולא זכור לי שזה היה כתוב באופן ברור.
נתנו לנו חדר בקומה הראשונה כמה מדרגות מעל הקבלה. החדר היה מרווח ביחס לונציה אבל צבוע כולו באדום..
החדר נמצא במסדרון שמוביל לארוחת הבוקר ויש ליד גם שירותים ולכן גם בבוקר בלילה היה קצת רעש מבחוץ מידיי פעם.

A budget hotel - but clean and meets all your needs
Pros:

We booked this hotel knowing it was more on the budget-side and we were bringing our dog. We were satisfied with the room - it had working air conditioning, was clean, and generally met our expectations. It's like a 5 min walk from the train station - which was SO convenient with our luggage and pet. We brought our dog and there were no extra fees and there was no hassle or weirdness about having him with us. This place has few extra amenities and I WOULD have given it a higher score had it not been for the wifi that kept cutting out.

Cons:

The wifi worked about half the time we were there. I had some work to do - so that was a bit frustrating for me because I had to hotspot many times because it would cut in and out. There is no kettle provided, so making coffee was not possible and their coffee machine on site did not work. It's odd that they didn't bother putting a "broken" sign on the machine - it was down the whole time we stayed.

Despite the previous, it was worth the money & couldn’t have asked for a better location !
Pros:

Location was perfect! Four minute walk to the train station & close to the amenities and action. Front counter staff were excellent.

Cons:

Breakfast staff were not pleasant or helpful. There were minimal eggs/pancakes if any. Water temperature was all over the place.
