Personnel très agréable et accessible. Jolie chambre sous les toits.

Cons:

Mauvaise isolation, nous étions sous les toits et avons bien entendu l’orage et aussi les annonces des trains de la gare d’à côté.
L’emplacement est pratique mais reste à côté d’une gare donc ne renvoie pas toujours un sentiment de sécurité pour femme seule.

Pros:

Tallelokeron ohjelmointi ja käyttö oli todella helppoa. Suuri kahteen kerrokseen jaettu huone sopi hyvin kolmen aikuisen tarpeisiin. Kylpyhuone on tilava ja hyvin varusteltu: pesualtaan molemmin puolin on hyvin tilaa, altaalla sopiva korkeus ja riittävän suuret peilit. Liukuovi kylpyhuoneen ja sisääntulon välissä on toimiva ratkaisu. Minibaarin lisäksi saimme käyttää keittiösyvennykseen sijoitettua jääkaappia ilman lisämaksua. Ilmastointilaitteistot viilensivät huonetilaa hyvin.

Aamiainen oli monipuolinen ja maukas. Tarjoilusta vastaava henkilökunta ja myös vastaanoton henkilökunta oli avuliasta, ammattitaitoista ja ystävällistä.

Cons:

Kaikki vesikalusteiden hanat ja viemäritulpat olivat todella jäykkiä käyttää ja kaipaavat pientä huoltoa. Ilmastointilaitteet olivat ajoittain öisin äänekkäitä. Pyyhkeistä puuttuivat ripustuslenkit ja ripustustapit olivat lyhyitä ja lukumäärältään vähäisiä, minkä vuoksi pyyhkeet tippuivat toistuvasti lattialle.

A Comfortable Stay in a convinient Location
Pros:

The location of the hotel was great, with easy access to Porta Nuova Railway Station and the metro. It is also not far, perhaps an 18-minute saunter past the shops, to Piazza Castello. Via Roma, the Bond Street of Turin, is also nearby. There are several decent restaurants in the area, too.

The hotel itself is in an early 19th-century building, so it has character without feeling old-fashioned. We had a room on the 5th floor. It was fairly spacious and we were grateful for the air conditioning when it was 35C. We had a view of the Torino Hills and the backs of other buildings — not picturesque, but real life.

The breakfast was good. There was a wide variety of filled croissants and, of course, Nutella. The coffee was also good, even though it came from a machine. Andrea, who seems to be there every day of the week, was friendly and helpful, and remembered what type of coffee we liked.

Some reviews remarked that the area immediately outside the hotel was a bit dodgy, or sketchy as they say in North America. The fair way to look at it is that San Salvario is a working-class area, with more of a racial mix and a few graffiti. At no point did we feel unsafe, even at 11:30 at night. You just need to keep your wits about you and walk confidently.

Cons:

As we were just below the roof, there were some awkward rafters that got in the way between the shower gel and the shower. The jacuzzi bath looked lovely, but we didn’t use it.

There was no room for an armchair, which we did miss.

I would have liked a few more hot savoury choices.
