Cons:

Hotellet er meget slidt og lidt beskidt, puds og maling falder af væggene nogle steder. Gårdmiliø mellem etager ser helt slemme ud.
Baren var ferielukket så der var ingen mulighed for at få noget betjening

Overall a pleasant experience. The location is very good. Near the train station and the duomo.
Pros:

There was a large variety of food and drink available - self serve. The seating areas were very nice. The staff was quite helpful.

Cons:

It was very hot. So either they couldn’t fix the air conditioning or there was none. I opened the window for fresh air until midday because it would make the room hotter overall.

L'emplacement était très bien, dans le centre historique de Florence.

Cons:

Le ménage avait visiblement été fait très rapidement avant notre arrivée et le sol n’avait pas été nettoyé : cheveux, rognures d’ongles, etc. De plus, trois serviettes avaient déjà été utilisées et simplement repliées.
Je dois dire que nous n’avions encore jamais vu ça et nous ne nous attendions certainement pas à cela dans un hôtel quatre étoiles, qui, selon nous, ne mérite malheureusement pas ce classement.
Mais le plus décevant a été la façon dont le problème a été géré. Après avoir prévenu la réception, on nous a simplement répondu : « Nous le noterons pour la femme de ménage qui viendra demain matin. » Apparemment, personne n’est disponible pour intervenir l’après-midi.
Aucune autre chambre ne pouvait nous être proposée et, étant trop fatigués pour chercher un autre hôtel, mon mari a finalement nettoyé lui-même le sol avec une serviette et nous avons attendu le passage de la femme de ménage le lendemain.
Malheureusement, celle-ci est bien venue refaire le lit… mais le sol n’a toujours pas été nettoyé ! Nous sommes donc retournés à la réception pour le signaler. Un haussement d’épaules accompagné d’un « very sorry » a été la seule réponse.
Les remarques des clients leur importent peu puisque les séjours sont généralement prépayés.
C’est donc la raison pour laquelle je prends le temps de laisser cet avis, ce qui n’est vraiment pas dans nos habitudes.
C’est d’autant plus dommage que la chambre elle-même était grande et confortable. Un simple coup d’aspirateur à notre arrivée, ou au minimum une réaction appropriée lorsque nous avons signalé le problème, aurait complètement changé notre expérience… et certainement notre note.
